Changement resolution TV mode clone ATI

Bonjour, je debute sur linux, ca me plait bien malgré des deboires gstreamer et autres je suis parvenu a comprendre deux trois bricoles mais il y a un truc que je surmontes toujours pas, c'est le bordel autour de ma carte ati x1650... Je suis passé a fesity qui gere tout seul l install, tres bien mais j'ai beau cherché de partout deja je n'ai nul part une interface graphique ou parametrer ma carte.
Pas grave les commandes et aticonfg ca doit pas etre insurmontable me dis je sauf que j ai beau fusiller des Xorg je trouve toujours pas ou on change la resolution de la tv... mon lcd est en 1680*1050 et je voudrais du 1024 seulement pour la tv sans quoi j ai qu'un quart du film a l'ecran
Cela dit en passant j ai aussi remarque dans totem qu'il savait gerer le tv out des nvidias et la question subsidiaire est : existe t il un equivalent ati ??
Je laisse mon Xorg en dessous et dsl je sais pas comment on fait un meu deroulant donc si qq'un peut me filer la combine aussi... [flood off]
