les drivers proprio ATI (fglrx) ne fonctionnent jamais chez moi !

Salut!
je ne comprends pas...
j'aurais eu beau tout essayer (enfin je crois) pour faire fonctionner les drivers proprio ati-fglrx sur ma config ils n'ont jamais marché. Et je ne parle pas pour avoir l'accélération graphique sur ma Radeon 9600pro mais tout simplement pour avoir l'interface graphique sous ma Feisty.
Quand je les installe et que je boote l'ordi, arrivé au moment du lancement de X, l'écran se met en veille et impossible de continuer. En gros chez moi les fglrx ne fonctionnent pas du tout!
Je suis obligé d'utiliser les pilotes libres ati-radeon pour que tout marche: avec l'accélération graphique aussi.
J'ai jamais réussi à trouver une solution à ce problème avec les fglrx... ?
J'utilise Feisty 7.04 + beryl + Gnome avec une ATI radeon 9600pro..

Si quelqu'un a une proposition à faire... hmm

idem pour moi! fglrx ne fonctionne qu'en 2d (pas d'effet pas de cube pas de 3d)
alors que l'install par defaut d'ubuntu 7.04 me donne TOUT! par contre j'utilise pas beryl mais juste compiz.
le cube est OK.....par contre lors de glxgears la charge cpu est tres importante donc malgrès un glxinfo positif ., je pense ne pas avoir l'acceleration sur ma radeon 9700tx.
toute la partie graphique doit etre gérée par le cpu....GRRRR
Desolé pas de solution de ma part.....

oui mais au moins t'as la chance d'avoir un affichage alors que moi l'ordi refuse de démarrer sous X lol

l'écran passe en mode économie d'énergie...

idem chez moi. jai fait control+alt+f1 pour passer en commande et acceder à mon xorg.conf qui deconnait!je lai modifié et ça roule maintenant. seul "ati" ou "radeon" à la place de "fglrx" fonctionne.Post ton xorg.conf qu'on puisse t'aider.

ca donne toujours le même résultat...

je debute mais je pense que capucino a raison. Perso je reste à l'install calssique + téléchargement de gnome compiz manager. Grace à lui j'ai la 3D bureau(merci mon P4de souffrir!)...
Maintenant il me semble que les 9600 pro ont plus de possibilités que ma 9700tx...
