Beryl ne marche pas sous ma Feisty XGL
Bonjour,
J'ai installer Feisty et tout marche, y comrpis Compiz, mais je voudrais bien passé avec Beryl mais quand je le lance, pas de "splash screen" mais le bord des fenêtre disparait.
J'ai une ATI X1700 FSC et XGL installé pour info,

J' ai installé beryl + XGL pour un ami ce matin et j' ai eu le meme probleme que toi
je l' ai résolu en allant dans synaptic puis en forcant la version des paquets "beryl-core", "beryl", "beryl-manager", "beryl-plugins" à la version 1.99 puis en les bloquant ensuite afin d' éviter qu' une MAJ casse tout

J'ai essayé mais cela ne marche pas, quand je le lance, j'ai un écran Gris...

La solution :
beryl-xgl --use-copy
Et c'est bon !

Ah non,
cela marche mais que je redimentionne ou agrandit trop une fenêtre, les bordures s'enlèvent et Ubuntu bloque, et je doit redemarrer les serveurX
Alors j'ai déjà lus http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/beryl_problemes
Et mon problème est semblable au : Feisty + pilotes Ati propriétaires + XGL
