résolution gnome

Bonjour,

J'ai migré vers Ubuntu car Kubuntu me semblé moins stable, mon probleme c'est que je peut pas avoir ma résolution 1280x1024 meme en installan les pilotes propriétaires qui me font perdre beryl donc je les ai desinstaller j'ai modifier mon xorg.conf en mettant 1280x1024 mais rien !!!!!

Sur Kubuntu j'ai jamais eu de souci

Dans mon etc/X11/xorg.conf à la section "Device", j'ai remplacé "ati" par "fglrx" (pilotes installés avec synaptic)

merci ferker, mais je n'ai rien installer dans synaptic  et tous marche donc j'ai pas trop envie de booter et plus rien puis je sais meme pas quel pilote j'ai pfffffffff

C'est quand meme bizzar qu'on puisse pas reglé normalment sa resolution non ??

non désolé sa ne m'aide pas car tout es ok sauf ma résolution, la plus grande que je peut choisir est 1024x768 je comprend pas, dans kubuntu il y avait un beau menu de configuration avec les choix d'écran constructeur, plug n play, choix des pilotes etc... et la sur ubuntu vraiment pas beaucoup de choix :(

Et puis j'ai un ptit souci aussi je n'ai plus ma barre avec les applications lancer, il me rete plus que la barre de tache normal avec demarrer et tous, je l'avais enlever car je voulais en avoir qu'une qui fait tous comme sur windows et la pas possible :mad::mad:

je pense que tous ce qu'on dit sur Ubuntu es un peut tirer par les cheveux comment voulez vous que des novices en informatique commence sur de tel systeme, il faut toujours qu'il y es un probleme :(:(:(:(:(

Bon et bien voila j'ai planter mon server x

avec la solution marqué ci dessus

j'ai remplacé dans section device driver  "ati" par driver "fglrx"

pffffff comment sa me gave il pourrait pas y avoir une interface graphique pour configurer ce satané server x :mad::mad::mad:

Salut! La, est-ce que ton serveur X marche ou non? Pour la resolution, je crois qu`il y a un probleme avec le pilote de ta carte video. Beryl et les pilotes proprietaires marchent avec XGL(cherche un peu dans la DOC)... Et finalement pour les barres, tu appuye sur la barre qui te reste avec le buton droit de ta sourie, "Ajouter un tableau de bord...", et tu appuye deux fois sur "Liste des fenetres". Bonne chance!

Il faudrait que tu reconfigure ton serveur X. Est-ce que tu peux te loguer(en ligne de commande)? Si oui, faut que tu tape:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

pour reconfigure ton serveur X. Laisse les options par defaut. Ensuit redemare ton ordinateur.

Si non, dit moi qu`est-ce qui t`empeche de te loguer.
