[Abandonné] Beryl ne se lance plus après upgrade vers Feisty
Bonjour à tous,
Je viens de faire un upgradre Dapper => Feisty via Synaptic sans aucun problème apparemment sauf que lorsque je souhaite lancer Beryl (Alt+F2 beryl-manager), je rebascule vers l'ouverture de session.
Après avoir tapé mon nom d'utilisateur et password, Beryl n'est pas lancé.
Pour info, sous Dapper j'avais réussit a faire fonctionner Beryl parfaitement sur cet Acer 3020.

as tu réessayé de réinstaller beryl ? moi c'est la 1ere chose que j'ferais. Les versions de beryl j'crois ne sont pas les même de dapper a feisty.
Et étant donné que beryl est assez instable, je le réinstallerais complètement.
(d'ailleurs, moi sous dapper, j'avais du le configurer le beryl avec des lignes de commandes et tout l'tutti, alors que sous feisty, quedal, juste 4/5 paquets à installer et une "beryl-manager" a rajouter en démarrage pour que ca roule ma poule !)
J'dis ca, mais j'suis qu'un débutant hein...donc c'est peut être pas ça qu'il faut faire ! lol !

Merci pour ta réponse, mais j'ai commencé par là et cela n'a rien changé. Quelqu'un a une autre idée ?

Tu n'as pa de message d'erreur,
tape glxinfo | grep "direct rendering"
puis beryl --test-only

Je viens d'essayer en installant les pilotes ATI via le gestionnaire de pilotes propriétaires, puis en réinstallant complétement Beryl :
Maintenant lorsque je lance beryl-manager, j'ai bien le l'icone du Gestionnaire Beryl qui apparait, mais je n'ai aucun effet (bureau en cube par exemple est pourtant bien sélectionné)

Up ! Je sèche toujours et malgrès plusieurs essais, je suis toujours au même point : Le Gestionnaire Beryl se lance et j'y ai accès, mais je n'ai aucun effet 3D...
