upddate edgy à feisty --> xgl bug complet

Bonjour,
je viens de mettre a jour mon ubuntu edgy pour feisty.
J'avais installé xgl et beryl (j'ai une carte ATI avec drivers propriétaires) grâce à divers tutoriels trouvés notament sur ce forum. Merci beausoup d'ailleurs!

Mais maintenant, ma session xgl fonctionne extrêmement mal: j'aperçois des zones, les menus les boutons, mais tout est brouillé impossible de lire quoique ce soit, en gros l'affichage ne fonctionne pas correctement...

Et je viens de faire quelques recherches sur google, mais je n'ai pas trouvé de solution.
Si quelqu'un a une idée, merci d'avance !

Même problème avec une XPress 1100. J'ai les drivers propriétaires et j'utilisais cette session pour beryl. Le passage à Feisty à mis le bazar (par contre chapeau, ma Broadcom 4318 si saoulante auparavant est devenue très mignone tout d'un coup!). Même symptomes, des rayures bizarres dans un environnement reconnaissable. Inutilisable. Ca me rappelle le plantage de jeu sous Amiga 1200... (nostalgie)

Toujours est il que  mon prochain ordo, ce sera sans ati, sans carte mère exotique, sans rien de tout ca... En aparté, pourquoi ne trouve-t'on pas de PC vendu avec Linux en préinstallé?

Ptit up desespéré. Je bloque total. Mes drivers ne sont plus reconnus, je n'arrive plus à les réinstaller, fglrxinfo ne voit plus ma carte chérie (enfin chérie... façon de parler)

J'ai eu ca aussi les lignes sur l'écran à un moment... ca venait d'une mauvaise configuration de xorg.conf. Un copier/coller dudit fichier pourrait être utile ici pour voir si c'est ca...
(dans xorg.conf, pour l'option composite, c'est bien "disable" par exemple ?)

J'ai bien le disable. Après suppression et réinstallation des drivers, j'ai le même problème.

Après installation des drivers à l'aide de la dernière envy instable, plus de feisty, il me renvoit à la console. Apparemment, il ne trouve pas d'écran!? Commence à me stresser ce truc j'écris d'XP... Blasant.

Désolé... je vois pas.... peut être en allant sur le topic des serveur graphiques tu trouveras la solution...
