XFree86-DRI, marche pas !
J'ai installé les pilotes propriétaires sur ma carte graphique ATI Radéon Xpress 200 Mobility ou M (j'aime bien les noms courts !). Mais fglrx me donne un message d'erreur, le voici:

J'ai le même problème aussi. Impossible de le résoudre j'ai tout esseyé.

je te donne pour xorg.conf j'ai une session xgl et beryl en plus avec la meme carte graphique que la tienne.

Moi aussi je suis sous Feisty. J'ai installé les pilotes prioritaires avec le gestionnaire et non avec le fichier .bin . Donc voilà ce que j'ai après avoir fait fglrxinfo
display: :0.0 screen: 0

OpenGL renderer string: RADEON XPRESS Series
OpenGL version string: 2.0.6334 (8.34.8)Mais quand j'active les effets on me dit que "L'extension Composite est indisponible". J'ai le même Xorg.conf que toi.

as tu installé une session xgl si non va voir la documentation
si compiz ne fonctionne pas tu as le choix de beryl: si tu veux beryl il faut:
1) dans un premier temps désactiver les depots universe et multiverse
2) dans ton sources.list tu mets la ligne:
deb http://ubuntu.beryl-project.org/ feisty main
3) puis sudo apt-get update && upgrade
4) tu installes les paquets beryl et emerald voir la docu pour ca
5) tu peux remettre les depots universe et multiverse mais en veillant de bloquer les versions des 9 paquets dans synaptic sinon la mise à jour de ces 9 paquets vont te ruiner beryl
