[Resolu] pb curseur avec bureau etendu+ATI

Bonjour tout le monde

J'ai configurer sur mon pc un bureau etendu avec une carte ATI.
J'ai utiliser la commande --initial=dual-head avec aticonfig et j'ai rajouter le "Xinerama"

jusque la ca marche et j'ai mon bureau etendu
le probleme c'est que le curseur de ma souris sur le deuxieme ecran est un gros carré blanc-transparent.

Bonjour à tous bon un petit up smile
par un heureux hasard je met en place la même chose aujourd'hui je patauge un peu puis miracle bureau étendu sur mon deuxieme ecran

Malheureusement même problème un ignoble curseur de souris carré et tout moche sur l'écran 2 alors que sur le 1 superbe smile J'ai aussi une ATI (X1600) sur un portable quant à moi

Aidez nous (noob online) smile

euh après quelque recherche c'est pire lol

il va falloir que je cherche un peu plus car lorsque j'essaie de mettre un bureau étendu je perds mon accélération 3D j'adore ATI smile

Bref je vais continuer de chercher smile

apparement d'autre aussi ont ce probleme, mais personne ne la solutionné.

ce qui est bizarre c'est qu ' avec Dapper ca marché trés bien !!!

je te tien au courant si je trouve quelquechose ...

Il suffit d'ajouter  Option "SWcursor" "on" dans la section Device

Ce n'est pas nickel parce que la souris laisse des traces, mais c'est déjà un progrès

chez moi le conf avec un layout mono screen n'a jamais rien donné, même en adoptant des modes d'affichage supérieur. D'ailleurs, cela ne me donne pas accès à des résolutions supérieures via préférénces - résolution.
Idem avec le conf que tu utilise qui n'active qu'un écran chez moi.

Sans xinerama, au mieux j'obtiens deux bureaux séparés sans communication et donc impossibilité d'avoir des instances d'une même appli sur les deux moniteurs. C'est très gênant. Au pire c'est clôné, je n'y vois aucun intérêt.

En tout cas au minimum je ne suis parvenu à un bureau étendu qu'avec du dual-head.

merci pour ton lien !! j'ai effectivement reussi a avoir un bureau etendu sans xinerama
par contre j'ai toujours deux device et deux screen (sinon X plante hmm ) , mais bon ca marche donc ...
j'ai pas utiliser l'option Mode2 car mes deux ecran on la meme resolution

j'avais reinstaller mes drivers ATI juste avant !!! je pense que ca a dut etre utile smile


par contre la solution de Aargh Option "SWcursor" "on" n'a pas fonctionné sur mon pc !!!

enfin toujours est-il que j'ai mon bureau etendu et que le curseur est normal ,donc content big_smile big_smile

je met mon xorg.conf au cas ou ca pourait aider quelqu'un

mais pour le curseur je pense que ca venait plus du driver ATI !!!
sinon peut etre que  Option "SWcursor" "on" marche sur les autres ????
