GDM plante de façon fort étrange

Bonsoir,
Bon ben j'ai un problème.
Au démarrage ( ou redémarrage de mon pc ) GDM plante, c'est à dire que je vois le logo nvidia s'afficher, puis au moment ou gdm devrait se lancer j'ai droit à un écran bisare rouge avec des traits noirs.
Ensuiite, (tout seul comme un grand) gdm se relance, mais cette foi j'ai droit à la fenetre de secours de GDM. Si par malheure je me logue avec alors là je ne peux pratiquement rien faire, et je n'ai pas les boutons arreter et redémarrer dans le menu de déconnection.

Par contre, si je passe en mode consol, et que je redémarre GDM à la main, tout marche parfaitement bien !

J'ai réinstallé gdm plusieurs fois ( apt-get remove --purge gdm puis apt-get install gdm ) mais rien n'y fait !

Aidez moi par pitié, ça commence à m'énerver de devoir redémarrer moi même gdm à chaque boot ...

Quelle version d'Ubuntu utilises tu, quelle carte video as-tu, quel écran as-tu, quel pilote vidéo utilises-tu ? Utilises tu Beryl ? Donc 5 réponses !

Colles aussi ton xorg.conf ainsi que ton Xorg.0.conf ?!

[NB] Le xorg.conf ainsi que ton Xorg.0.conf sont a mettre entre Quote.

Ubuntu edgy eft ( 6.10 si tu préfères )
J'utilise un laptop. En effet j'utilise beryl, mais à ma connaissance il se lance quand on démarre une session, pas avant ...

C'est quoi Xorg.0.conf ? J'en ai jamais entendu parler.
