Demande de l'aide pour installer les drivers pour ma carte Radeon 9250

Bonjour, voilà, je débarque sous Kubuntu 6.06, et je voudrais mettre en place l'accelération 3D de ma carte... J'ai déjà suivi des tutos, la doc, mais rien... je commence à me décourager de voir un jour afficher dans mon terminal "direct rendering : yes"...

j'ai déjà regardé là : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/fglrx et là http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/radeon et d'autres sites... si vous pouriez m'indiquer comment faire svp, merci d'avance

J'ai déjà une petite question. Pourquoi as tu installé Kubuntu 6.06 Alors que la version 6.10 es sortie depuis octobre ?

Pourrais tu donner plus de détails ?
- Quel Driver tu as pris (Libre ou propriétaire) ?
- Qu'as tu fais pour installer le pilote ?
- Quel message tu as lorsque tu tape "fglrxinfo" ?
- A quoi ressemble ton fichier "xorg.conf" ?

Bonjour, j'ai installé la 6.06 car je l'ai commandée par la poste, mais je vais passer à la 6.10 bientôt.

Sinon, pour le drivers j'ai voulu installé les drivers libres
Pour les installer, j'ai optimisé mon noyau, puis j'ai suivi le tuto http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/fglrx

Quand je fais "fglrxinfo" j'ai :

Et quelques infos sur ma config :
- carte graphique Radeon 9250 (AGP, 128 Mo)
- processeur AMD64 (Système 32 bit)

Ayant un processeur AMD64 et un système 32 bit, j'ai regardé là : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/fglrx#amd64_et_noyau_32_bits. Puis j'ai cherché mon chipset comme d'écrit ici --http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/acceleration_graphique. J'ai donc tapé

lspci | grep "VGA"

et ça me renvoi

0000:01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV280 [Radeon 9200] (rev 01)

j' ai eut aussi queques petits soucis mais essai de voir sur plusieurs tutos car d'un tuto à l'autre il faut ajouter  ou pas enfin bref essai cela par exemple:

ceux qui sont sur  Ubuntu ont l'air plus fiable

ca fais un jour que tu galéres

certains galerent depuis des mois et ont meme fais une croix sur l'acceleration 3D alors relativise ...

si jetais toi , jinstallerai la 6.10 deja parce que meme si tu reussi a isntaller les driver sur ta dapper , lors de la upgrade , tu changera de kernel et donc faudra reinstaller les drivers proprio ...

à moins que tu ne choisisses de rester avec les drivers libres 

si tu choisi les drivers proprietaire de ATI , la solution d'installation la plus simple est sans doute le script ENVY

j'ai aussi tenter l'acceleration 3D et rien du tout
par contre j'ai reussi a installer les driver de ma carte radeon 9250
mais apparement il y a des problemes avec certaines applications (OOo2 par exemple)
je pense aussi que tu dois passer sur la version 6.10
dans le cas ou tu y arrive je serai curieux de savoir
bon courage et que la force soit avec toi!

Sur 6.10, ça marche sans problème. J'ai un peu galéré au début mais finalement j'ai le 3D et Beryl sans bugs. Le tuto marche mais il faut adapter  /etc/X11/xorg.conf en lisant bien les infos.

J'ia suivi le tuto des drivers libres. Pas de souci a la premiere instalation, mais depuis la mise a jour de egdy, ca rame un peu

En fait ça rame plus, c'était un processus mangeur de bios qui faisait ramer
