Tout est installer rien ne marche (Beryl, ATI, AIGLX)

Bonjour,

Autre tentative de me venir en aide.

Ati radeon 9250 ok
AIGLX semble ok
Beryl insatller

Mais je suis pas capable de faire fonctionner le tout ...

même drivers que moi, le drivers ait proprio est pas compatible avec aiglx, utilise xgl ou installe les drivers libres.

Car l'option composite est activée par défaut pour assurer la compatibilité avec aiglx

Question : comment on fait, dans ce cas, pour utiliser AIGLX ? on ne peut pas ? il faut se rediriger vers XGL en attendant la compatibilité du driver propriétaire avec le composing ?

Remarque : désactiver le composing, avec les dernières mises à jour provoque ce bug, qu'on peut résoudre en suivant ces indications.

Je te prévient, moi qui a essayeer XGL + ATI + Beryl sur ma ATI RADEON 9550, beryl ralentissait un p'tit peu sur mon ordi (Intel Pentium 4 3.20 Ghz) et impossible de lire les vidéos, même en configurant le player. Je te conseille compiz (les vidéos fonctionne impec.) ou désactive le max de plug-in dans beryl pour gagner en fluidité.

Les anciennes version fonctionnait très bien, depuis cette mise à jour ...........

moi j utilise actuellement xgl + beryl + ati drivers et ca marche bien.
J ai qq petits soucis de vitesse d apparition de fenetre et de redimensionnement.
Pour les videos je te conseil mplayer sans l interface, juste mplayer <filename>
et la ca marche impec
