[Résolu] - Beryl sur xgl et driver ati proprio

Bonjour,

J'ai installé Beryl en suivant la doc, j'arrive à le démarrer pendant une session sous xgl gnome... le diamant rouge s'affiche bien sur la barre et j'ai accès à toutes les options mais impossible d'appliquer beryl !?

Chose surprenante lors de la session xgl le résultat de glxinfo contredit fglrxinfo

Alors que sur une session gnome normal "direct rending" il indique bien "Yes"

Voilà si vous avez une idée de mon problème...

Il y a un bug dans la mise à jour de beryl, il y a plein de posts là dessus dans le forum

la solution est de désinstaller beryl et de réinstaller la version précédente: 

sudo apt-get install beryl=0.1.99.2~0beryl1 beryl-core=0.1.99.2~0beryl1 beryl-manager=0.1.99.2~0beryl1 beryl-plugins=0.1.99.2~0beryl1 beryl-plugins-data=0.1.99.2~0beryl1 beryl-settings=0.1.99.2~0beryl1 beryl-settings-bindings=0.1.99.2~0beryl1 emerald=0.1.99.2~0beryl1 libberyldecoration0=0.1.99.2~0beryl1 libberylsettings0=0.1.99.2~0beryl1 libemeraldengine0=0.1.99.2~0beryl1 emerald-themes=0.1.99.2~0beryl1 -V

Je vois que tu as installé les drivers proprios de ta carte, attention à la mise à jour du noyau, jette un coup d'oeil à mon tuto en cas du plantage du serveur suite à la mise à jour du noyau:

J'ai désinstallé beryl puis j'ai esssayé ta commande qui échoue et me dit:

E: Impossible de verrouiller /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (11 Ressource temporairement non disponible)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), is another process using it?
fabien@ubuntu:~$ sudo apt-get install beryl=0.1.99.2~0beryl1

Voilà j'ai bien trouvé les anciens packets sur cette page:

Mais je ne sais pas comment l'installer.

Sinon pour la dernière mise à jour du noyau j'ai pu remettre mes drivers ati proprio

Chui vraiment con sur ce coup j'avais laissé le gestionnaire de packet synaptic ouvert...
...

Ca fonctionne !!!!!!!

Mais comment bloquer la requête de mise à jour ?

c'est simple
tu commentes les lignes beryl dans ton fichier :sources.list

ensuite

sudo apt-get update
