Augmenter la résolution sur Gnome

Salut ^^
Je sais que ce problème a déjà été traité 100 fois mais le mien est un petit peu différent :
Quand je vais dans Système, Préférences, Résolution, ça reste bloqué à 1024*768 alors que je voudrais aller à 1280*1024.
Je vous copie le contenu de la section "Screen" du fameux xorg.conf :

Rajoute ça dans la section device pour voir:

Option "UseEDID" "False"

et reboot ton interface graphique...

PS : temps qu'à faire tu pouvais poster tout ton Xorg

Ca n'a pas marché.
Je te mets le xorg.conf en entier :

Pardon si j'avais su que tu avais une ATI, je n'aurais rien dit...

Vouloir à tout prix être dans le vent c'est avoir un destin de feuille morte.

Mais bon, c'est vrai qu'ATI c'est pas terrible comme carte graphique. As-tu essayé un sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg ? Fais-le, choisi ATI dans la liste, ignore les autres options en validant à chaque fois avec "Entrée, redémarre ta session, puis essaye à nouveau.

Pas de logiciel de montage vidéo professionnel sous Linux ? Demandez à Sony son portage de Vegas Pro sous Linux... ou attendez Lightworks ;)

Comment ça c'est pas terrible ??
Elle m'a accompagné dans les moments les plus terribles de ma vie ces dernières années sans me lâcher une seule fois ! tongue
Ca y est j'ai fais le dpkg-reconftrucchouette mais ça n'a rien changé. Pour installer les pilotes j'ai suivi le HOW-TO fait par je sais plus qui en tête de la section prévue à cet effet.
