ATI X300 et Ubuntu
Bonsoir a tous,
J'ai telecharger Ubuntu et je lai installer ! j'en suis vraiment tres content a part un petit bemol sur le fait que je ne peux pas afficher une resolution superieur a 1024*748 et bon ca fait un peu moche ! Jai un peu lu sur le forum les problemes similaires mais des que je modifi le xorg.conf et que je relance le serveur X il me dit que ce dernier ne peut plus se lancer et jai plus acces a rien ! donc je suis oblige de reinstaller XD

Voilou ! et donc des que je modifi sa plante. jai essayer d'ajouter 1200*1024 a depth 24 dans les modes mais sa a tout casser donc je n'y touche plus pour le moment
J'ai une ATI X300 et un ecran LG flatron L1721b

Bé 1200*1024 n'est pas une résolution standard, c'est 1280*1024 qu'il faut utiliser...

A oui en effet mais tu es sur que sa va pas faire planter mon serveur X ?
Je met a la place de:

Bonsoir,
Au pire si ton serveur plante, pas besoin de tout reinstaller, tu reconfigures juste ton serveur X
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
Ou tu rétablis un sauvegarde de ton ancien fichier.
Pour le sauvegarder :
sudo cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.backup
Pour le rétablir :
sudo cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf.backup /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Ou simplement tu l'édites et tu modifies le paramètre qui coince
sudo nano /etx/X11/xorg.cong
(Ctrl+X pour enregistrer et sortir de nano)
