Specialement refaire tout une installation de ubuntu pour faire marcher l'acceleration graphique je suis pas sur que se soit fort utile. Moi je suis pas aller compiler les derniers drivers d'ati, j'ai tout pris des paquets synaptic et tout marche fort bien.

vec Edgy Eft avez vous ajouter ces lignes pour la compatibilite avec aiglx, specialement le tuto et bien fait avez les problemes en cas d'erreur

Euh une question. Ca va peut être vous sembler débile mais bon quand je fais un lspci j'ai deux lignes pour ma carte graphique le primaray est "VGA controller" et le deuxième est "Display controler". Est ce que ça pourrait pas venir du fait que par défaut il ne choisit pas le bon BUSPci pour activer l'accélération 3d ?
Juste une question que je me pose. Bien que tous les possesseurs d'ATI doivent avoir la même chose mais bon on ne sait jamais.

je ne sais pas moi non plus d'où vient le problème, j'ai essayé tous les modes d'installation et rien à faire, j'ai une Radeon X300 SE et kubuntu 6.10 edgy i386. Et pour répondre à "Djrem" je n'ai qu'un seul bus PCI Express donc si ça peut aider quelqu'un :

Voila ce que j'obtiens avec fglrxinfo:

J'ai résolu mon problème en modifiant le fichier /etc/X11/xorg.conf après redémarrage (chose que je n'avais pas fait avant de poster le message plus haut) du système le "mesa glx indirect" a disparu et le "direct rendering" est activé.

les ajouts suivant sont bien corects:

enfin vivement que ce problème soit résolu du coté de chez ati, car même sous windows c'est vraiment galère à installer l'openGL...
