915resolution ne fonctionne pas

Salut,

J'ai un pc avec une carte graphique intel 915GM. J'ai donc installé 915resolution mais malheureusement, même après redémarrage ca ne fonctionne pas, je n'ai toujours qu'une résolution de 1024x768.

Que faire ?

J'ai aussi le même genre de matériel. J'ai donc installé 915resolution ... et ca fonctionne chez moi!
Je te poste donc mon xorg.conf. Tu peux éventuellement l'essayer à la place du tiens (en le sauvegardant en xorg.conf.backup par exemple).

Bonjour,

j'ai le même problème, j'ai installé, 915resoltuion et tout ce passe normalement parcontre, je n'arrive pas à être en 1024x768. J'ai réussi avec un xorg reconfigue à monter en 800x600. Si vous avez des idées, je susi preneur, merci.

Tu peux changer tes subsection display pour xqu'elles ressemblent à ça:

    SubSection "Display"

Tu peux mettre plusieurs résolutions les unes à la suite des autres.

Et il ne faut pas oublier d'éditer /etc/default/915resolution! Le mien ressemble à ça:

Alors, j'ai remplacé toutes les entrées 1024x768 par 1280x800 et j'ai modifié le 915resolution comme le tiens. Pas de changement, même après redémarrage.

J'ai donc modifié le Xorg.conf avec les 3 résolutions et redémarré. Ca ne change rien et dans préférences, il n'y a toujours que la 1024x768... je désespère sad

Et si tu fais en console

sudo 915resolution 58 1280 800

puis que tu redémarres le serveur X (ctrl+alt+backspace) ça marche?

Non toujours pas... par contre un pote me fait la remarque que l'écran n'est pas en 16/9 et que si je le met en 1280x800, ce sera déformé et que ca sert à rien de se prendre la tete avec ca neutral

Ah oui, effectivement... Il est même possible que ta carte ne supporte pas de résolution 16:10 alors! Et c'est pour ça que ça ne marche pas. Essaie

sudo 915resolution 58 1280 960

ou

sudo 915resolution 58 1280 1024

ou

sudo 915resolution 58 1600 1200

ou
...etc...

Enfin, essaie de trouver une résolution qui fonctionne pour ton écran. Ensuite, édite xorg.conf et /etc/default/915resolution en conséquence.
