Va ici, tout est expliqué mais pour mon PC ça ne marche pas (j'ai également un x700) enfin si mais personne ne m'aide alors que j'ai suivi le tuto.

je ne sais pas si cela va t'aider mais:

je possède aussi une ati X700 sur un acer aspire 1692

Merci bien pour vos contributions.
En fait, dans les lignes de commandes, il fallait changer "vesa" par "ati".
Heu, et un copain m'a bien aidé parcequ'avant ça, j'avais tout planté :-)

Pour info si ça peut servir :

ATI X700 sur une Asus M6Va avec Linux Ubuntu Edgy voici mon fichier xorg.conf qui marche super bien (jai pas testé la 3D mais le bureau est très beau) :

Tu as oublié le sudo avant nano, mais sinon en effet, l'essentiel est la smile
