Problème de résolution d'écran

bonjour,

j'ai un souci avec la résolution de mon écran LCD (Belinéa 10 20 30W), j'ai bien installé mes drivers Nvidia, éditer le fichier xorg.conf pour lui indiquer la résolution "1680x1050" qui correspond à la résolution optimale pour mon écran. tout fonctionne bien sauf que si je redémarre X ou si je quitte un jeu pleine ecran, la résolution devient plus grande que celle indiquer et du coup mon écran devient un peu flou ( ceux qui ont un lcd comprendront...) et il me manque donc une partie de mon bureau.
Ma carte est une nvidia nx 7600 GS.

J'ai le même probleme avec ma ATI Radeon 9600Pro. J'avais trouvé une astuce de bricoleur :  Systeme-->préférences-->résolution de l'écran; tu baisse les résolutions et tu les remonte et tout redevient comme avant...

P.S. : c'est du bricolage et ça ne remédieras pas à ton probleme, néanmoins c'est toujours mieux que de redémarrer à chaque coup que tu quittes un jeu...

P.S.2 : Quelqu'un qui s'y connais plus te répondras surement, histoire de régler le probleme...

oui je fais aussi cet manip pour retrouver mon écran normal , mais au bout d'un moment ça devient lourd. Tu as quel écran? juste pour savoir si ç'est spécifique au matériel ou si c'est un problème plus général...

Un écran daewoo 17" cathodique, pas plat... En vrai un écran de m**** qui a déjà quelques années, mais je n'ai pas le budjet pour me payer un plat...

Non le probleme ne doit pas venir de l'écran mais plutot du serveur graphique (à mon avis; je ne veux pas trop m'avancer)

Quelqu un sait si on peut préciser dans xorg.conf de quel type d'écran il s'agit (LCD ou Cathodique) et si oui quel option changer? car je vois marqué "écran générique" dans les options , cela peut peut-etre changer quelque chose.
