[resolu]mettre la 3D avec une ATI

bonjour!
voila je tente dinstaler l'acceleration 3D!
jai une ATI Radeon X300 SE
512MO de ram! biento 1024
et un pentium  de 2,93Ghz:
jai bien installer le noyau linux-restricted-686
et xorg-driver-fglrx.
mai aprè je comprend rien  laide de aticonfig! et juqu 'ici a chak foi ke jai redémarrer lordi, jai eu un ecran noir
voila

Ben moi la carte graphique est reconnu des le depart avec accel si je ne m'abuse... yikes

si je tape 

 glxinfo | grep direct

jobtien

daprè le tuto! ça veu dire qu'elle nest pa activé

jai suivi le tuto!
mai quand il demande daller voir la page aticonfig! je comprend plu rien.
pour linstant jai fais!

sudo apt-get install linux-restricted-modules-$(uname -r)
sudo apt-get install xorg-driver-fglrx

quelqu'un peut il maider etape par etape pour savoir quoi faire aprè?

Ouvre un terminal et tape :

sudo aticonfig --initial

Ca modifie ton fichier xorg.conf pour prendre en compte le driver proprio d'ati (fglrx) à la place du libre (ati).

Et fait aussi :

sudo aticonfig --overlay-type=Xv

Ca c'est pour "l'accélération video" (le type d'overlay en fait).
Reboot, et c'est bon...

helas! je vien dessailer ces commandes! jai rebooter. et a la place de KDM, jai eu lecran noir!
peut etre qu'avec ma catre graphique c'est pa possible!

Normalement la X300 est gérée dans les derniers drivers ATI... hmm

Si tu pouvais nous donner le contenu de ton fichier /etc/X11/xorg.conf

(PS: essaie de faire un effort sur l'orthographe, ça sera plus facile pour te lire smile )

ceci aprè que je lai remis dans sa version dorigine aprè que jai rebooter et qu'il y a eu lecran noir en tapant 

sudo cp /etc/X11/xorg.backup /etc/X11/xorg.conf

j'espère que ça va taider

Par là il a dit que ton sujet était mal placé, et du coup a été changé de section big_smile.

Sinon, c'est normal que ca ne fonctionne pas... Dans la section Device, en face de Driver, tu as toujours "ati" alors que tu devrais avoir "fglrx". Donc, soit comme te l'a dit nicky_larson9, tu changes à la main, soit tu exécutes la première ligne de commande que je t'ai donnée, elle fait aussi ce changement.

Et pourquoi as-tu l'otion "Composite" d'activée? Tu as fait quoi?

composite! c'etait pour mettre la transparence je croi!
mai je le lactive plus car ça rame beaucoup tro! sans doute parce que justment je nai pa lacceleration 3D!

voila mon nouveau fichier xorg.conf que jai modifier a la main suivant ce qui est ecris a cette adresse http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=2487
il est correct? je peu rebooter? ça marchera?

argh! jai tro cru ka ça avait marché!
jai rebooter! pas decran noir! kdm se lance! je lance aprè ma session.
pour voir je tape la commande

et jobtien
