[Résolu] Problème GLX carte Nvidia
Bonsoir tout le monde,
je me permet de poster ce message car après une journée complète à chercher je ne trouve toujours pas de solution...
Je viens d'installer la dernière version d'ubuntu et lorsque j'essaie d'installer les drivers nvidia, je plante tout mon xorg....
J'ai pourtant suivi les différents tuto que j'ai pu trouver sur le forum, regardé les autres problèmes lié à glx mais je n'arrive toujours à rien...
L'installation se passe correctement, je modifie bien mon xorg.conf comme indiqué en changeant "nv" par "nvidia", j'ai même essayé de mettre la section "dri" en commentaire, mais rien ne marche. JE me retrouve toujours avec un écran noir...
Je vous colle ci-dessous mon xorg.conf, je suis peut être passé à coté de quelque chose.

Je te conseil de suivre le tuto du wiki:

Pour moi ca c'est super bien passé (quand on a eu une Ati ca fait bizarre )

Je viens d'installer les drivers propriétaires NVIDIA et j'ai du changement...
Maintenant, mon xorg est bien noir au lancement (malheureusement), mais 5 sec plus tard, il devient blanc avec des bande grise et clignote.
Est ce que cela vous dit quelque chose?

Je viens de tester avec une autre carte graphique MX440 et la ca marche sans problème...
J'en déduit donc que la GeForce 4 TI 4800SE n'est pas compatible avec aucun driver que j'ai pu tester....
Si quelqu'un connait le bon à utiliser, je veux bien l'info

Bon après plusieurs test et mail envoyé à droite et à gauche, on viens de me répondre que les drivers nvidia ont un peu de mal à fonctionner avec une Asus GeForce 4 TI 4800 SE, donc je clos ce sujet.
