Probleme de résolution limitée sur Geforce FX5600 / Dapper

Salut,
Je ne parviens pas à configurer ma résolution au delà de 1024x768 avec :
Mobo : ASUS A7N8X-Deluxe (NForce2)(AMD)
Grfx : GeForce FX 5600 256Mo
Ecran : Benq T905 (19'' LCD - résolution max 1280x1024)

Voici l'état dans lequel se trouve mon XORG.CONF après avoir :
1)Suivi la procédure d'installation du driver nVidia via apt
#decouverte du disfonctionnement#
2)Suivi les indications, dispo sur la Doc du site, ayant résolu ce probleme pour d'autre :

...Et pour cause, je tourne sur le driver nv pour le moment car la meme config avec le nvidia ne fonctionne pas...

je tente de réinstaller le glx....

J'ai enfin réussi !

ne reste plus qu'à ajouter les quelque taux de rafraichissements manquant (limité à 60 là où je sais pouvoir monter jusqy'à 75) mais c du détail... voici à quoi ressemble mon xorg.conf maintenant :
- pas de Splash screen nVidia,
- detection du branchement DVI de l'écran,
- accélération 3D,
- toute résolutions,
- driver glx 8772

bravo résolu tout seul!

vous n'avez pas forcémnt un blocage de rafraichissement, j'ai aussi un lcd de 19 pouces et j'ai remarqué (et c'est normal d'apres la doc) qu'avec le port dvi je suis à 60hz et sur le vga à 75 hz, pour la meme resolution, 1280*1024.

qui a dit que la sortie dvi est meilleure?
