accélération graphique

j'ai installé les drivers ati et je me rend compte qu'en fait ca a empiré les choses et que mon accélération graphique était active avant mais plus maintenant

comment puis désinstaller les drivers et remettre le fichier xorg.conf comme il était à l'origine?

merci de vos prochaines réponses qui je l'espère pourront m'éclairer

il faut aussi désinstaller l'utilitaire "ATI control"

bon j ai pu désinstaller les drivers ati

mais comment retrouver la config de départ?

ma carte graphique est une ati radéon 9200 et je tourne sur un ordi portable sony vaio pcg-k315s

et il s'avère que c'est un échec toujours pas d'accélération graphique que faire???

Pour retrouver le xorg.conf d'origine (installation d'Ubuntu)

~$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

j'ai deja fait et l'accélération graphique ne revient pas
j'ai donc réinstallé les drivers ati en suivant le tuto que j ai indiqué ci-dessus mais niet

ca ne veut pas

c'est gentil mais pour moi c'est du chinois
il n'y a pas un moyen de savoir qu'est ce qui est mal installé ou pas installé ou alors voir ce qui cloche dans le xorg.conf?

j'ai refait la methode 1 de cette page et toujours rien http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/materiel/ati

la je suis vraiment desespéré en plus qu'au tout debut ca fonctionnait et la pas moyen de retrouver la config. de base ca me tue

j'ai donc laissé tomber pour les drivers propriétaiares et je me suis tourné vers le driver libre radeon

j'ai suivi le tuto de la partie doc

le serveur x redémarre mais toujours pas d accélération graphique

que faire

Allo,

J'ai effectivement le même problème, sauf pour cette fois, j'ai une ATI Mobility Radeon 9100 IGP sur un portable (on-board)

Ces types de cartes semblent être très difficile à détecter s'ils sont sur la carte mère.

Le mieux, c'est de réinstaller le tout mais cette fois-ci, de conserver une copie du xorg.conf sur un lecteur amovible...

Je vais tenter de faire des tests sous peu pour éventuellement trouver une solution (deux jeux dorment dans mon armoire hmm)

Je te reviens avec mes démarches sous peu

Normalement à l'installation du système, c'est le driver libre qui est utilisé par défaut ; et lors de l'installation des drivers propriétaires une sauvegarde automatique du fichier xorg.conf est faite.

Dans /etc/X11/ la commande ls doit te donner un truc dans le genre :

~$ cd /etc/X11
/etc/X11$ ls
app-defaults  rgb.txt  xorg.conf             Xresources        Xwrapper.config
config        X        xorg.conf.defaut      Xsession
cursors       xinit    xorg.conf.fglrx-0     Xsession.d
fonts         xkb      xorg.conf.original-0  Xsession.options

Les fichiers xorg.conf.*-0 sont crées automatiquement lors de la configuration du driver ATI fglrx. Si tu fais :

/etc/X11$ sudo cp xorg.conf.original-0 xorg.conf

tu retrouvera la configuration initiale de ton Ubuntu (après un redémarage du serveur graphique, bien sûr).
