pb

awesome, problème après l'installation

Bonjour,
Je suis sous Ubuntu (Jaunty) avec Gnome, mais pour changer un peu de Gnome, j'ai installé Awesome.
Je ferme la session, je relance la session sous Awesome et... problème :
il y a bien une barre en haut de l'écran, mais clavier et souris semblent déconnectés.
Impossible de lancer quelque chose. Reboot avec le bouton du PC sad

Merci pour vos conseils.

PS. je sais que pour lancer un terminal sous Awesome, c'est Mod4 (touche windaube) + entrée, mais ça ne fait rien, pas de clavier.

Salut,

Quelle versions de awesome? 2, 3 des dépots, la versions git?

A première vue, je pense que tu n'as pas de fichier rc.lua, il devrait être dans ~/.config/awesome/rc.lua ou dans /etc/xdg/awesome/rc.lua

C'est la version des dépots, la 2 je crois.
Le fichier de config est donc ~/.awesomerc (alors que lua c'est pour awesome version 3).
Et il existe (et il est déjà bien rempli), j'ai vérifié.

Avec cette méthode j'ai awesome 3 sans soucis.

J'ai installé awesome 3.
Et ça va un peu mieux :
- j'arrive à ouvrir un terminal avec la souris.
- par contre, au clavier, rien (Mod4+entrée ne fait rien par exemple).

Je suppose que c'est simplement parce que le fichier de configuration ~/.config/awesome/rc.lua est vide.
Je vais voir comment on le remplit, demain...

Si ton fichier est vide, il utilise celui ci: /etc/xdg/awesome/rc.lua

Je te poste le mien, j'ai ajouté les raccourcis clavier  pour les touches multimédia et le son, la modification pour clavier belge (ou francais c'est presque pareil)

Tu devras adapter le chemiun du thème que tu veux. J'ai aussi changé l'affichage de la date)

J'ai oublié la touche MOD4 F1 te permet de taper une comamnde et doonc de lancer un programme.

Je crois que la vraie cause de mes ennuis est que Mod4 ne semble pas exister sur mon clavier (j'ai bien une touche "windows" mais ...).
