(résolu)hésitation sur choix du boot

bjr à tous

j'ai bien lu la doc sur le choix du boot
j'ai été dans  /boot/grub/menu.lst mais j'hésite à écrire "default 0" juste après Ubuntu 9.04, kernel 2.6.28-13-generic j'ai un doute , faut il laisser un espace ou directement coller à generic ?
j'imagine que je dois enregistrer la manipulation et rebooter, s'il y a un problème comment redémarrer ?

Default 0 ne se place pas au niveau des différents choix de boot mais plus haut dans le fichier.
Normalement il y est déjà.

en fait il boot sur Ubuntu 9.04, memtest86+ car au début j'ai fait par tatonnement et ensuite j'ai découvert la documentation m'enfin j'suis pas sur de la manip voici tout le fichier

C'est normal qu'il boot sur memtest car en haut du fichier tu as : default 4
Si tu compte tes entrées à partir de zero tu voit que cela tombe sur memtest.
Pour booter Ubuntu il faut mettre 0 à la place de 4 et pour windows il faut mettre 5.
La ligne default n (n est un nombre) doit rester à la même place

parfait merci mais je n'ai pas l'autorisation d'enregistrer la modif ?
comment dois je faire pour lui dire que c'est moi le patron à bord ?

C'est normal ouvre ton fichier en faisant  Alt-F2
et colles : gksu gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst
Tu pourras l'enregistrer

Salut

menu.lst est un fichier système, il ne peut pas être modifié par un utilisateur.
Tu dois donc l'ouvrir en administrateur. Depuis un Terminal (ou avec ALT+F2) :

gksudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst

génial çà marche et je fais un grand pas en avant ....faut absolument digérer les lignes de commande pour récupérer de l'autonomie !:D
