[Resolu] kubuntu dapper et le wifi
Je rencontre quelques soucis depuis les dernières mises à jour de ma Kubuntu Dapper.
Après installation d'une Fight5 sur mon portable l'accès wifi fonctionnait correctement (carte PCMCIA 3com OfficeConnect 54g).
Hélas, depuis une quinzaine de jours plus moyen d'accéder au réseau par le wifi.
La carte est reconnue mais n'est plus activée :-(.
Un iwconfig me donne les infos suivantes:

Je viens de réinstaller le système ce matin à partir d'une version daily datant du 14/04 mais j'obtiens le même résultat :-(
Quelqu'un a t-il une idée ?
Serait-ce un bug ?
Pour info, je n'utilise pas de WEP ni WPA car le réseau est encore en phase de test.

Salut,
J'ai aussi quelquechose qui ressemble à ça sous breezy nickel ma carte wifi pcmcia était reconnu parfaitement et marchait constament.
Passage à Dapper avec la flight 6 maintenant dans le kinfocenter il apparait que je n'ais pas de controleur pcmcia. Du coup pour me connecter au wifi je dois enlever la carte allumer la machine puis la rebrancher quand le système est démmarer.
Essaie de la débrancher et de la rebrancher puis de regarder dans
dmesg

J'ai trouvé la raison de mon problème wifi.
C'est la version du kernel qui est en cause.
Je suis repassé en version 2.6.15-19 et la carte wifi est de nouveau disponible et fonctionnelle.
Il doit donc y avoir un bug avec la version 2.6.15-20 actuelle.

J'ai depuis trouvé comment utiliser le dernier kernel 2.6.-15-20 sans perdre l'accès wifi.
En fait il semblerait que le module islsm_pci empêche le fonctionnement normal qu'une carte à base d'un prism54 comme ma 3com actuelle.
J'ai trouvé la solution sur le forum ubuntu:

J'ai donc blacklisté le module incriminé et ma carte fonctionne maintenant avec le kernel 2.6.15-20.
