problème ubuntu 8.10 toshiba L300

Bonjours à tous! ET vive la communauté linux!
J'ai des problèmes avec mon L300,
Je n'arrive pas à configurer le wiffi !
Le ventilo se déclenche une session sur deux et ne s'arrête pas!
S'il faut mettre à jour le bios je ne sais pas comment faire!
Aidez moi s'il vous plait cela fait une semaine que je galère!
Je remercie d'avance la communauté qui ma souvent aidez par le passé.
