Impression sur copieur Toshiba e-STUDIO 2051C dans un réseau local

Bonjour,
je dispose d'un copieur Toshiba e-STUDIO 2051C sur mon réseau local (192.168.0.*).
Seuls des utilisateurs identifiés peuvent utiliser le copieur, ceci n'est pas une option vu que le copieur est destiné à se trouver dans un endroit public.

Le copieur est accessible depuis mon PC mais les demandes d'impression échouent :
Lorsqu'une demande d'impression est faite, le job reste dans la file d'impression dans l'attente d'une authentification.
Lorsque l'authentification est faite, le job est envoyé au copieur.
Seul l'utilisateur "admin" obtient un résultat tangible : une feuille désespérément blanche avec la mention :"Error: Unsupported PDL error".

Selon les infos glanées sur le web, cette erreur vient d'un PB de driver qui serait défectueux ou incompatible. Malgré la foultitude d'installations et de réinstallations de drivers, le Pb persiste.
Si quelqu'un pouvait me dire où trouver le "bon" driver ... Et si, en plus, ce driver proposait une demande d'authentification à la soumission du job, ce serait l'idéal...

Le paquet toshiba-estudio-cups ne serait disponible que pour Bionic 18.04 ou Focal 20.04 dans ce PPA ...

Pour vérifier :

apt policy toshiba-estudio--cups

... avec le PPA activé dans les sources.

Faudrait peut-être contacter le mainteneur du PPA pour voir commemt installer sur la 24.04 ?

Sinon, faudra probablement passer par la section 1.3 Télécharger le pilote sur le site de Toshiba de la doc citée par @xubu1957 ...

Bonjour ylag, Iznobe
en fait j'ai dégainé un peu trop vite en clamant que le pb était résolu. Ce qui est résolu c'est une impression en niveaux de gris (obtenu avec le premier driver pour Toshiba e-STUDIO dans la base de données : Toshiba e-STUDIO 162, qui est pour imprimantes mono). Depuis je rame à obtenir une impression couleur, même les drivers génériques ne fonctionnent pas.

Alors , il n' est pas judicieux d' installer 2 pilotes différents pour la meme machine .

De plus, tu fais des tests de ton coté sans préciser sur le forum ce que tu fais précisément , et sans donner les retours , comment veux tu que l' on puisse suivre ?

Je me suis beaucoup inspiré de cette page.

sur les tests effectués :
j'ai testé de nombreuses machines couleur dont le nom était de la forme e-STUDIO * dans la base de données, quasiment toutes répondent par "Unsupported PDL error" à l'exception de la première citée et aussi de e-STUDIO 220cp qui fournissent une impression en niveaux de gris.

sur les drivers multiples :
je n'ai pas vu malice à installer plusieurs .ppd sur la même machine. Je vais tenter de désinstaller ces drivers supplémentaires.

@xubu1957 : je n'ai pas de code à fournir dans cette réponse.
