Installer Scribus
Bonjour à tous et merci d'avance pour tout ce que vous faites (et avez déja fait pour moi) !
Je suis une quiche (ça vous vous en doutez) et il faudrait que j'installe Scribus pour faire un boulot urgent pour une asso.
je suis sur Mate 22.04.4LTS 64 sur un portable pas très puissant mais qui tient encore le coup.
Noyau Linux 5.15.0-118 MATE 1.26.0 ?
J'ai téléchargé "scribus-1.6.1-linux-x86_64.AppImage" dans un répertoire et dans un autre dézippé un répertoire "scribus-1.6.1" qui me donne 10 sous répertoires dont "Appimage-package" qui est peut être le truc à lancer ?
Mais aussi un répertoire "scribus" tout court et un "Scribus.app"
Je peux essayer de lancer des trucs à partir d'une console mais je fais comme un chien savant (pourquoi cette expression con ? ) et fais comme je peux.

Dans ce cas, pourquoi ne pas simplement utiliser la boutique de logiciels pour installer Scribus ?
Certes, tu n’auras pas la toute dernière version mais ce sera sans doute bien suffisant pour ce que tu as à faire.

Je réponds ; le chapitre 1 de la Doc Scribus, je l'ai probablement téléchargée mais tout ce que j'ai ouvert ressemble à des lignes de codes mais souvent avec des couleurs. Je peux faire un rechercher sur "Doc Scribus" ??
je continue à répondre ; Je suis allé dans ce que je crois être la boutique de logiciels que je lance à partir de mon menu principal . J'ai lancéune recherche et le truc me répond ; "Aucun logiciel ne correspond à votre recherche" Il me propose d'installer un "centre de logiciel" faut que je fasse ça ??
Je pense avoir des trucs utiles déja téléchargés sur le PC mais je suis comme une poule qui a trouvé un couteau. Je vais prendre le temps d'y arriver mais ça pourrait être long.

Quand je lance la recherche j'ai "Aucun logiciel ne correspond à votre recherche" et un peu différent du tien "installer un centre de logiciel" après la recherche infructueuse ou avant recherche j'ai effectivement un lien ; dans le cas ou vous ne trouviez pas ce que vous cherchez, installez une des "logithèques (avec un clic devant)" afin d'explorer le catalogue complet des logiciels Ubuntu .
mais dans les deux cas j'aboutis à "Sorry, Welcome could not feature any software for this category that is compatible on this system"
Effectivement la j'aurai une installaion automatisée mais il me manque un truc ?
Est ce que je peux copier les fichiers téléchargés Scribus dans un répertoire auquel accèderait la boutique de logiciels ?
Je dois pouvoir gérer une installation en lignes de commande ou sur un écran tout noir avec des apt get ..... ?

Comme tu dis, il manque un truc. Je pense que le dépôt universe a été retiré des listes de sources.

Bonjour, Ne vous inquiétez pas, je n'ai pas laché l'affaire mais comme je me retrouve président d'asso avec des démissions sur les bras, je dois sortir dans la semaine un bulletin de liaison de 44 pages et ça ne me laisse pas le temps de me cultiver. Nous avons deux bulletins de retard donc il est prévu que le suivant se fasse sous Scribus. Provisoirement nous bossons à deux sous Libre Office et on va y arriver.

La c'est la fête et j'ai un défillemetn de dizaines de pages de "selection du paquet", dépaquetage" et "paramétrage" et en final une sorte de barre de progression YOUPI !
A part que à la fin, j'ai ça :

Je dois avoir démarré cette install sous 16 et être progressivement arrivé à 22 LTS par mises à jour ?

Quelle commande as-tu passé au #14 ?
Refais :
dpkg -l | grep -v ^iiAstuce pour copier / coller sans erreur :
triple clic gauche pour sélectionner et copier une ligne entière
clic molette pour coller dans le terminal

Donc pour faire simple, nous avons sorti notre bulletin en retard dans les temps prévus et nous allons sortir le suivant avec les moyens du bord (Libre Office Writer).
Je vais prendre le temps de réinstaller la 24 pour avoir un truc propre. ensuite seulement installer Scribus.
Donc il faut que je sauvegarde tout ce qui me semble important et que je formate .
J'ai plusieurs partitions. Il me semble que formater celle ou est Ubuntu suffirait ?

Normalement ça se fait tout seul à l’installation, il faudrait choisir l’option « Remplacer Ubuntu 22.04 » ou un truc du genre.
