pas de Boot après install 24.04 sur HP Elitebook 8560w
Bonjour,
J'essaie d'installer unbuntu 24.04 sur un HP EliteBook 8560w, sans dual boot, unbuntu étant le seul système.
Je fais une installation à partir d'une clé USB Live, avec les options par défaut, pas de partionnement particulier.
J'ai essayé d'installer en mode "BIOS", ou même UEFI, mais dans les deux cas, à la fin de l'installation le boot est introuvable (03FE). J'en suis resté au mode BIOS qui a déjà fonctionné sur ce PC avec Debian, mais je n'ai pas d'à priori.

Je -crois- comprendre que l'installation s'est bien faite "en mode BIOS".
Par ailleurs je n'ai pas trouvé d'indication très claire concernant le partitionnement à créer (s'il le fallait) dans mon cas. Certains parlent de créer une partition de 1MO, d'autres d'une partition /boot ... c'est juste assez pour m'y perdre.

Tu ne devrais pas avoir de problème.
Il te faut installer, en effaçant et sur tout le disque. C'est l'installateur qui se débrouille, tu n'as rien d'autre à choisir.
Surtout ne pas compliquer les cas simples ... même si c'est tentant pour faire savant 
Je n'ai pas lu ton boot-info car je n'ai pas de compte pour y accéder, mais ton cas est le plus simple possible.

Bonjour.
Tu as fait une installation LEGACY parfaite avec un disque partitionné GPT.
Donc présence d'une parttition Bios-grub de 1 MO.
Manque de chance, d'après cette discussion Il faut faire une installation EFI.
