Conseils pour les nouveaux demandeurs et pas qu'eux

Si  c'est toujours le même ordinateur qu'au N° 4 montrant un ordinateur EFI,
Boote avec le support d'installation.
Choisis essayer avant d'installer.
Installe refind.

sudo apt install refind

N'oublie pas d'accepter qu'il s'installe dans la partition EFI.
Puis reboote.  Ubuntu devrait être visible avec des icones oranges

j'ai bien installé refind.

Le premier ubuntu déconne comme je l'éxpliquais plus haut (blocage sur le logo)

Le second est la mise à jour du firmware.      Aucun intérêt pour le moment

Je viens de réaliser que  ubuntu n'est pas présent et que grub  a la couleur de ubuntu
Fais un boot-info pour clarifier

Sinon la solution kamikaze
1) Booter en live USB
2) Choisir essayer avant d'installer.
3) Installer boot-repair
4) Lui demander de supprimer tous les noyaux et de réinstaller seulement le dernier

Je ne comprends pas pourquoi tu n'as pas une autre icône orange pointant directement sur ubuntu car ses fichiers d'initialisation me semblent corrects.

Bon ba j'ai tenté boot-repair mais le problème persiste.
Pour supergrub2disk peux-tu me dire ce qu'il faut que je télécharge s'il te plaît ?
Il faut créer un live usb c'est ça ?

Tu la déposes sur une clé USB comme tu as fait avec la 24.04.
Si tu n'as qu'une clé USB à ta disposition, je t'engage d'abord à  installer  ventoy

Tu lui dit d'inspecter le disque a la recherche de logiciels à booter.    Je ne pense pas qu'il existe un tuto.
Il devrait de donner une liste...      A  essayer jusqu'à ce qu'une ligne      fonctionne

Malheureusement me revoilà.
Tout allait bien avec un beau ubuntu tout propre mais depuis hier impossible de démarrer.
Écran noir et rien ne se passe. Lorsque je tente de démarrer depuis un kernel précédent il bloque sur "loading initial ramdisk".
Avec un memorytest cela donne :

Failure: File system check of the root filesystem failed
The root filesystem on /dev/sda2 requires a manual fsck

Je tape donc fsck -l /dev/sda2 et je réponds y à toutes les questions, c'est long... (comme demandé au post 33).
Puis redémarrage et c'est bon.
Une idée de l'origine de ce problème qui devient récurant ?

Bonjour.
Avec un tel besoin de réparations, il y a  deux causes majeures.
  1) Arrêt brusque de l'ordinateur par manque d'électricité.
       Ce que tu dois savoir.
2) Soit le disque dur fatigue. Pour le savoir, installe l'application smartmontools et publie ce retour.

sudo smartctl -s on -a /dev/sda

Par contre je vois "--since yesterday" dans la commande. Je précise qu'en réalité le démarrage à déconné jeudi dernier.
