[ABANDON] PC Portable sous Budgie extremement lent
Bonjour,
Je sollicite votre aide pour m'aider à trouver des pistes pour identifier le problème de lenteur de mon pc portable. J'ai mis cette discussion dans le forum budgie, ce n'est peut être pas le meilleur choix...
C'est un Lenovo yoga 500. intel I3 5005U 4 coeurs à 2 Ghz. Il a 8Go de RAM, un SSD de 512 GO et fonctionne en dual boot ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS Budgie 16.6.1 et windows 10
Mon expérience, c'est une incroyable lenteur. Je surveille l'activité avec le moniteur système. Dès que je le sollicite (simple ouverture d'une page web avec Firefox ou Brave, par exemple), les quatre courbes se collent à 100% et les réactions sont au ralenti, et ça ne redescend pas.
Je ne vais que très rarement sur windows, mis il me semble que c'est le même cinéma.
J'ai changé la barrette de RAM aujourd'hui, j'espérais une réaction positive, mais non, pas de mieux.
Je suis perplexe...
Avez-vous des idées, des pistes ?

Afin de lever un doute, ou pas, installe Smartmontools avec :
sudo apt-get install --no-install-recommends smartmontools
Ensuite récupère les données Smart avec :
sudo smartctl -s on -a /dev/sda

Ton SSD est en bon état. Par contre, il y a ces erreurs :

Ce type d'erreur peut être dû à une mauvaise connexion du disque. Tu devrait donc arrêter ton PC et bien vérifier que le SSD est correctement branché. Le mieux étant de la débrancher/rebrancher.

Je viens de faire la manip' débrancher puis rebrancher le ssd.
L'erreur est toujours là.
Le PC n'a pas accéléré. Je ne chronomètre pas, mais il faut au minimum une vingtaine de secondes pour ouvrir Firefox par exemple.
J'ai fait un essai avec windows. La lenteur est là encore, même si le moniteur système n'indique pas des processeurs à 100%, mais à 25%...

Les erreurs 195 ne vont pas disparaître puisque c'est un compteur. Il peut juste s'incrémenter plus lentement.

ah, d'accord.
Bon, en tout cas, ça n'avance pas plus vite. Je viens de chronométrer : 1'12 pour lancer une video youtube ne ouvrant un nouvel onglet. J'ai un vieux macbook de 2007 sous debian qui va plus vite. Il y a vraiment un problème, à priori matériel, mais lequel ???

Eh bien en fait, sans utiliser Memtest, c'était ma première idée. Je l'ai remplacée, elle est neuve. je vais malgré suivre ce conseil et lancer memtest, on ne sait jamais, des fois que cette ram soit elle aussi défectueuse. N'écartons aucune piste.

Mis à part quelques délais (réseau) un peu long lors du démarrage, je ne vois rien de flagrant.
Par contre, au message #5, on peut lire :
Failed to start Service for snap application snapd-desktop-integration.snapd-desktop-integration
Le plus simple est de tenter une réinstallation du snap avec :
sudo snap remove snapd-desktop-integration && sudo snap install snapd-desktop-integration
Ensuite redémarre ton PC, puis donne le retour de :
journalctl --no-pager -b -p err

Le SSD de ton PC est-il d'origine ou l'as-tu installé toi même ?
Si tu l'as installé toi même, de quelle marque est-il ? Ou l'as-tu acheté et à quel prix ?
Tu peux aussi donner le retour de :
sudo lshw
après avoir installé "lshw", si besoin.
Tu pourras aussi redémarrer ton PC, pour comparer les temps de démarrage, et donner de nouveau :
systemd-analyze time
systemd-analyze blame --no-pager
