Problème Python après réinstall Ubuntu 20.04
Bonjour,
J'ai un nouveau problème avec python.
Maintenant que j'ai reinstallé ubuntu 20.04 sans écraser mon répertoire /home, j'ai un souci qui semble difficile à régler proprement.
Avec ma fresh install d'ubuntu20-04 quand je fais
pip list
...

puis de reinstaller python 3.8
le problème subsiste !

thibault@R2D2laptop:~$ Toutes les solutions que j'ai vues dont les gens disent que ça corrige impliquent de telecharger un python en source sous /home/username et
un openssl sous /home/username cd compiler openssl puis python et de configurer python pour lui dire de ssl c'est openssl sous home/username.
Mais je trouve que c'est "crad" (j'avais installé python-3.8.0 sous mon home/username sous ubuntu 16-04 et j'ai eu du mal à la desisntaller.
Comment se fait il que python ne trouve pas ssl qui est installé ?
n'y-a-t-il pas de solution propre avec la version native d'ubuntu 20-04 soit python 3.8 pour qu'il trouve ssl ?
N.B. je pars en vacances jusqu'à la semaine prochaine je ne répondrai pas rapidement (et je n'aurai pas mon PC avec moi)
je pose la question pour avoir vos avis à mon retour
P.S je précise que je n'ai pas eu ce souci avec ubuntu 20-04 installé sur mon SSD il y a 1 ou 2 mois (https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=2080319)

1) Tout d’abord, assurez-vous d’avoir activé les packages sources dans la liste des sources. Vous pouvez le faire en ajoutant l'emplacement des packages sources, y compris l'URL, le nom de la distribution et le nom du composant, à /etc/apt/sources.list. Prenez Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (Jammy Jellyfish) par exemple :

J'ai passé toutes les commandes suggérées et leur résultat, mais ça n'a pas l'air d'inspirer le forum,
c'est trop dans une niche ?
je ne sais pas comment investiguer cela, comment peut-on voir qui demande le SSL ce sont les dépots pip ?
c'est une modification récentes qu'ils ont faite ? la même version sur le SSD (certes installée à partir de zéro)
fonctionne, qu'est-ce qui a changé en 3 semaines pour ubuntu 20.04 ?
une piste ?

Déjà on voit dès le premier message que python3 est installé dans /usr/local/, donc que tu l'as installé manuellement, sans passer par apt (d'ailleurs ça sert à rien puisque python est normalement installé de base, car c'est un élément du système). J'ai bon?
Si oui, mon avis: ne pas s'embêter, virer la version installée manuellement et réinstaller python avec apt si besoin (enfin faut faire gaffe parce qu'il faut pas trop jouer avec python, sinon tu vas péter ton système)

Effectivement bonne remarque, sur mon SSD qui fonctionne et est en ubuntu 20.04 également python3 est en
/usr/bin/python3
Mais je n'ai pas reinstallé manuellement python3, même si comme rien ne marche j'ai tenté des choses.
mais installer à la main python3, non.
En fait je suis partie d'une installation en ubuntu 20.04 suite à un upgrade de ubuntu 18.04 en ubuntu 20.04 qui fonctionnait mal,
et j'ai appliqué cette procédure :

Elle garde tout ce qui est en /home mais pas le reste à ce que j'ai compris

thibault@R2D2laptop:~$ à noter qu'à chaque fois à l'install j'ai une erreur, cette foisi j'ai dit OK pour l'envoyer à ubuntu, mais je ne sais pas ce que c'est.
Question 1) y-a-il une solution pour récupérer les logs de l'installation pour voir ce qui s'est bien passé et ce qui s'est moins bien passé ?
Question 2) Y-a-til une solution pour retrouver les logs de l'erreur dont j'ai autorisé la remontée à ubuntu pour en connaitre la teneur ?
Question 3) est-ce que ça vous inspire quelque chose ?
question 4) sans nouveau retour de votre part j'aurais volontiers tenté la même réinstallation mais en cochant "formatage de la partition de reinstallation"
mais alors la partie grub de la partition sda7 où il y a ubuntu serait à réécrire avec peut-être un risque de souci (je précise que la méthode au § 2.2 stipule expressément de ne pas cocher le formatage de la partition).
Je pensais tenter ça en me disant que peut-être comme à l'install il voit python 3 en /usr/local/bin/python3
il le remet au même endroit.
Mais c'est peut-être idiot, car il est sensé effacer tout de la précédente install, non ? sauf la partie /home slon la doc.
Que pensez vous de tout ça ?

Ce qui est incroyable c'est qu'avec le même DVD ubuntu 20.04, en faisant une install sur un SSD externe raccordé en USB (cf. https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=2080319),
j'obtiens un Python3 à l'emplacement nominal :

Comme j'ai vérifié immédiatement après l'installation on peut dire que la différence est la méthode d'installation.
j'ai suivi la méthode d'installation :

en suivant le paragraphe § 2.2 à la lettre la preuve c'est que ubuntu20.04 fonctionne bien, que les logiciels que j'avais installé ont disparu
et que j'ai conservé intact le répertoire /home
Je ne comprends pas du tout, comment c'est possible qu'ubuntu intalle python3 en
/usr/local/bin/python3 à la différence de l'autre installation.
J'aimerai beaucoup que les experts de l'installation d'ubuntu me donnent leur avis sur la marche à suivre,
car j'ai pensé à refaire la même réinstallation cette fois ci en cochant la case formatter la partition
mais je me demande :
- si la méthode est erronée et si ça ne va pas faire que la partie grub de la partition sda7 soit endommagée et ne plus booter
- si pour une raison x ou y ça ne va pas continuer à mettre python3 là où il ne faut pas
en tout cas je ne voudrais pas en faisant cette tentative aggraver la situation

C est assez clair, Le paragraphe de la doc dit
Le système de fichier sur /dev/sd/XNN assigné à / n'a pas été marqué pour être formaté.
Les dossiers contenant les fichiers systèmes (/etc, /lib, /usr, /var, ...) qui existent déjà sous tous les points de montages
seront supprimés durant l'installation.
Veuillez vous assurer que vos données importantes ont été sauvegardées avant l'installation.Cependant le répertoire /home est bien conservé. Cliquez sur «Continuer».
Cela aurait été été mieux qu il donne la liste exhaustive plutôt qu il mette des points de suspension
ou qu il donne la liste des répertoires conservés car il n y a probablement pas que /home
Je sais qu'il y a aussi /boot. Il semblerait qu'il y ait aussi /usr et ....
Rien ne dit que c'est encore vrai avec le nouvel installateur. Subiquity si je ne me trompe pas de nom.

Donc on est bien d'accord que selon la Doc /usr est effacé et que ça ne devrait rien changer de cocher la partie formatage de la partition.
Maintenant à votre avis si je coche est-ce que ça pourrait être pire sachant que j'ai cette erreur à l'installation et je ne sais pas laquelle
(ni si je pourrais avoir des logs dessus sur le PC) ?
Je ne sais pas ce qu'est ce nouvel installateur ni où on peut voir quel est son nom dans le PC
Le truc qui serait aussi intéressant c'est d'essayer de comprendre pourquoi quand je fais l'install sur un SSD en USB, Python est mis à un endroit et je n'ai pas de souci de pip list
et pourquoi avec le même DVD il met Python dans un autre répertoire en suivant la méthode et le paragraphe 2.2. et j'ai un souci de pip list

On est bien d'accord que c'est bien écrit de ne pas formatter dans la doc.
Cela dit on peut comprendre pourquoi parce que là l'idée est de conserver le /home donc si on formatte on le perd.

En clair, Il y a des utilisateurs qui ont leurs données personnelles dans /home. C'est pour cela que cette possibilité existe..
A mon avis, ces possibilités ne devraitent pas exister: Si les données n'étaient pas dans home, tout pourrait être reformaté.
Le nouvel installateur est arrivé avec la version 23.04. A mon avis il n'est pas encore totalement au point donc l'ancien n'est pas encore supprimé.

je n'ai pas de partition dédiée pour /home c'est bien la même que la partition ubuntu.
Cela dit si ça a une chance de régler le problème je peux retenter en cochant formatter la partition sda7, car j'ai une sauvegarde de mes données,
je voudrais juste éviter que ça n'empire...

Mais une fois que j'ai double-cliqué sur la partition, que j'ai choisi qu'elle soit en ext4, de ne pas formatter (jusqu'ici), etc., à un moment l'afficheur passe de la partition (sda7 cf boot-info https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=2081903 page 1) au disque complet.
alors par peur de risque d'erreur d'installation je clique sur la partition sda7 avant de cliquer sur continuer.
ça ne pourrait pas être la cause de mon souci d'installation qu'il m'affiche à chaque fois ?

je fais :
Procédure
Démarrez votre Live CD ou votre Live USB, et lancez l'installation.
Lors de l'installation de Ubuntu, à l'étape "Type d'installation" (Etape 3), il faut choisir "Autre chose"
Puis cliquer sur «Suivant», ce qui affiche la table (la liste) des partitions existantes.
Double-cliquez sur la partition système Ubuntu que vous voulez remplacer.
Une fenêtre s'ouvre, qui s'appelle «modifier une partition». Dans cette fenêtre, vous avez plusieurs zones:
«taille de la nouvelle partition»: conservez la taille actuelle.
«Utiliser comme»: choisir le format actuel de la partition => je choisis ext4
«Formater la partition» => je coche
=> J'ajoute mettre le point de montage '/' dans la partition
Tout ça c'est OK.
Mais après il m'écrit :
Périphérique ou sera installé le programme de démarage :
/dev/sda ATA TOSHIBA THNSNJ25 (256.1 GB)
C'est donc là où sera mis le grub.
Mais j'ai déjà un grub là puisque j'ai un dual boot, est-ce qu'il ne faudrait pas plutot que je mette :
Périphérique ou sera installé le programme de démarage :
/dev/sda7
soit la partition que je fais effacer et qu'il faut recréer.
car GRUB soit être forcément aux 2 endroits :
- il doit être sur SDA (ce qu'il est déjà) pour que j'ai un dual boot
- mais il faut qu'il soit aussi sur /dev/sda7 pour que quand le grub de SDA l'envoie sur sda7 il y ait un bout de code qui démarre sur la partition sda7, non ?
Merci de me confirmer ou d'infirmer en me donnant un petite explication s'il vous plait

Il faut que tu choisisses SDA ce qui t'est d'alleurs proposé. Sinon l'ancien boot ne sera pas détruit, Il continuera de pointer vers un secteur de SDA7 qui a toutes les chances de ne plus être le bon. Alors que si tu choisis SDA, il mettra à jour le pointeur vers SDA7.
Il n'y a pas lieu de choisir un autre disque que SDA puisque tu vas installer le logiciel dans une partition du disque SDA.

on peut voir le Grub dans le SDA et un morceau aussi dans le sda7
donc ça m'inquiétait que pour reinstaller une partition sda7 il n'aurait mis de grub que sur SDA...
C'est clair que je ne connais pas mais comme je ne sais pas réparer je préfère éviter de me tromper plutot que d'aggraver la situation.

for (,msdos7)/boot/grub. It also embeds following components:C'est la traduction de boot-info. Voici la réalité d'un boot en mode legacy.
1) Le bios lance l'exécution du logiciel stocké dans les 446 premiers octets du disque déclaré prioritaire par l'utilisateur,
2) Dans ces 446 octets, boot-info à vu que la suite se passerait dans le secteur 1 du disque.
3) Dans cette partie qui va du secteur 1 au secteur 2047' boot-info a vu que la suite est dans le fichier /boot/grub stocké dans la partition 7. Sauf erreur de ma part' il y va par connaissance du N° de secteur oû est stocké ce fichier. Si pour une raison X ou Y, ce fichier change de place, cela plante.
4) Le contenu de ce fichier est affiché et tu peux choisir quel noyau lancer.
Donc si tu décides de ne pas mettre dans le début du disque, le bios ne sera pas au courant et ne lancera pas le ubuntu que tu viens d'installer. Le choix de ne pas mettre le grub dans SDA n'est à faire que quand on dispose d'un autre logiciel qu'on veut continuer à utiliser comme "dirigeant". Il faudra alors lui faire prendre en charge la présentation du choix de boot de ce nouvel O.S.
