Tu as des menuentry.
Il faut remplacer  quiet splash dans le premier menu avec ces deux options ou intercepter le boot à son démarrage pour le faire dynamiquement.
c'est la même chose que nomodeset. voir paragraphe 7.2

Je ne crois pas voir de changement par rapport au rapport de démarrage que j'avais déjà posté du coup je me demande si le problème ne se produirait pas même avant cette étape ou si j'ai fait la modif comme il fallait pour que quelque chose ressorte. Et un dernier point que j'ai remarqué: pour contourner le problème et démarrer normalement quand même je n'ai pas beson en fait de booter sur un live usb puis de redémarrer. Il suffit que j'accède au démarrage au menu de boot (sans live usb branché) et que je choisisse le disque système. Pour l'instant ça a marché à chaque essai.

Les options sont bien mises.
Si tu pouvais faire une photo de l'écran au moment de l'incident et la poster dans un site en donnant son url, Cela pourrait aider.

Voilà les photos des écrans au démarrage de la machine. Contexte: ces écrans apparaissent après que j'ai sélectionné un démarrage "normal" dans le menu grub.

En complément:
1. J'ai refait des tests de manière plus méthodique: le problème se produit bien de manière systématique.
2. J'ai tenté la modif trouvée dans le post du forum Mint dont j'avais parlé quelques posts plus haut: le menu grub est moins sexy mais le problème ne se produit plus. Ce serait donc bien un bug de grub?

Je suis tentée de passer le thread à Résolu mais au final, cette solution est un contournement plus qu'une résolution donc j'attends vos avis: peut être qu'il est possible de vraiment résoudre?


Modération : merci d'utiliser des images de petite taille (300x300) ou des miniatures pointant sur ces images.

Si je comprends bien, tu as ajouté  "grub terminal=console" dans le fichier /etc/default/grub   et tu as regénéré le grub

Je croyais qu'avec un mac, on utilisait ( obligatoirement?) refind.

Re, je ne connaissais pas refind: je ne l'ai jamais installé ni utilisé pour une install.
Je viens de lire la page de documentation qui lui est consacrée: je trouverais ça bizarre (mais possible) que le problème vienne du fait que j'utilise grub plutôt que refind vu que cet ordi est sous Kubuntu depuis 2 ans et que c'est un problème apparu au cours des 2-3 dernières semaines seulement.
Et bon, j'avoue: j'aime bien grub :-)

D'après mes lectures, Refind est surtout conseillé pour gérer le double boot Mac/Linux.

Sur un MacBookPro 2015 que l'on m'a donné , j'ai écrasé le disque avec une Debian stable. Elle démarre avec Grub et tout se passe bien.
