Bonjour,
Quand j'ouvre une session de "terminal", il affiche

discover_other_daemon: 1francis@francis-G41M-Combo:~$

La première commande s'exécute correctement et le message ne s'affiche plus jusqu'à la prochaine utilisation de "terminal". D'après mes premières recherches, il devrais s'agir du lancement d'un doublon concernant un daemon.
Ce comportement n'est pas bloquant, mais quand même anormal, je voudrais retrouver un "login" propre.

D'après mes première recherches, l'origine du problème pourrait être une ligne en doublon dans un fichier de configuration (gdm?) mais je n'ai pas réussi à déterminer quel fichier, ni à fortiori quelle ligne.

[Edit] Suite à l'installation d'une carte graphique NVidia, je suis passé de Wayland à X11, je pense que ce détail a son importance
J'ai d'autres sessions de linux installées (dont Rolling Rhino, équivalent actuel à Lunar Lobster) qui n'ont pas ce problème [/Edit]

[Edit2] @inbox : je ne suis pas pour l'instant devant mon fixe, victime de ce dysfonctionnement, dès que j'y serais je lancerais le dmesg (qui sera alors d'autant plus intéressant qu'il sera vraisemblablement la première commende lancée lors de cette session) |/Edit2]

Pour faire un peu de tri dans dmesg :

sudo dmesg | grep -Ei "erro|warn|fail"

ça n'affichera plus que les lignes contenant les expressions erro, warn ou fail donc une façon de repérer des Error ou errors des Warning ou des failed ou Failure.
Ça laissera quelques lignes peu significatives mais ça sera quand même plus simple à lire ;-)

Les commandes

systemd-analyze blame

ou

systemd-analyze critical-chain

donneraient peut-être d'autres pistes là où dmesg donnera surtout des infos relatives au matériel ?

Je suis actuellement sous X11 sur ma session Ubuntu, depuis l'installation de ma carte NVidia. Pour me autres sessions, je n'ai pas eu à forcer le passage de Wayland à X11, les différents systéme ont réglé ça automatiquement. Du coup et vu que e seul systéme sur lquel j'ai ces ennui est justement celui où j'ai forcé le passage de Wayland à X11, je pense avoir fait une erreur de manip mais je n'ai pas noté quelles modifs j'ai du faire. Je vais donc tenter un retour à Wayland (j'espère bien retrouver la fameuse roue dentée) en espérant que ma CG soit maintenant compatible.

On va tenter de trouver une info intéressante dans les logs.

Donne le contenu de :

/var/log/syslog

Ainsi que celui ci, s'il existe chez toi :

/var/log/daemon.log

Un problème résolu ? Indiquez le en modifiant le titre du sujet.

NB : je ne poste pas de mon fixe, victime de ce dysfonctionnement
Récapitulation :
- Un message s'affiche devant le prompt dans "terminal" ;

discover_other_daemon: 1

- ce message ne s'affiche que pour la première commande mais réapparait à chaque lancement de "terminal". D'autre part, il ne gène pas l'utilisation courante de 'terminal"
- Ce message ressemble plus à un "warning" qu'à un message d'erreur, et semble plutôt lié à l'application "terminal"
Pour confirmer, je vais d'abord vérifier que ce message n'apparait pas en console (Ctrl+Alt+F2) puis chercher les fichiers de config de "terminal", en particulier  /etc/bash/.bashrc (et autres fichiers /etc/bash/*) et ~/.*shrc
@inbox : je répondrais à tes demandes dès que je serais devant mon fixe.

Bon, j'ai réussi à repasser sous Wayland. Ma CG est bien reconnue, puisque l'écran fonctionne alors qu'il est branché en HDMI, option de la carte graphique et absente de la carte mère.
Le message a changé :

(sic) Il s'affiche en double, mais cible l'origine du problème sur "/run/user/1000/keyring/control" qui serait absent ??!! alors que nautilus y voit un fichier control vide
Une réinstallation de keyring pourrait-elle corriger le problème ?
NB : je n'ai pas de problème lié à un mot de passe ni à pgp

[Edit] Après mure réflexion, je n'étais probablement pas sous Wayland. Le nouveau message apparaît aussi sous X11, comme on peut le voir ici :

Boot suivant : le système est revenu de lui même en Xorg. J'étais Je pensais être passé en Wayland en modifiant "/etc/gdm3/custom.conf" ; ça ne fonctionne plus. Pas possible non plus de faire réapparaître la roue crantée sur la page de connexion.
Bon, tourner sous Wayland n'est pas une priorité, mais j'aimerais savoir !

Sauf erreur de ma part, la roue crantée devrait apparaître à l'étape de l'entrée du mot de passe, après avoir choisi l'utilisateur sur l'écran de connexion à la session ?

@ylag : ben non, depuis que j'ai validé le login automatique ça ne l'affiche plus (après retour à la connexion avec demande de login, bien sur).
NB : je suis le seul utilisateur.

J'ai réinstallé gnome-keyring : aucun effet

Je commence à envisager la solution "bourrin" : clean réinstall

En connexion automatique, on n'a pas le choix de la session. Il faut déactiver  et quelquefois créer un second utilisateur.
