installation xubuntu LTS18 04

Bjr
Je veux etre sur de ce qu'il faut faire -papy 79 piges -
je choisirai autre chose pour determiner les partitions

actuellement j'ai
sda1 ext 4   /   taille :31 Go   utulisé 10

sda2 swap       taille 3 ,91    utilisé  3,91

sda3  /home    taille 263    utilisé 34 

donc je pense ne rien modifier - mais comment je fais pour ne rien modifier ?

Je te prie de faire un Boot-info et de donner l'URL de ce Boot-info dans ta réponse. Motif de ma demande : j'ai besoin d'être sûr de la config actuelle.

Est-ce que tu tentes de faire ce Boot-info depuis une session d'une ancienne version de Xubuntu installée dans ton ordi ou bien est-ce que tu l'as fait depuis une session live (ordi démarré sur un LiveDVD ou une LiveUSB) ? Si c'est depuis une session live, je te prie de préciser quelle version est sur le support live (18.04 ou version précédente de Xubuntu).

donc je vais booter sur une cle usb avec la 18 04 - essayer ubuntu  - et ????

et t'installe boot-info comme indiquer dans la doc

Oui, pour l'installation de Boot-info sur la LiveUSB, tu suis le paragraphe 1.1.2 Cas où aucun Ubuntu installé sur disque n'est opérationnel. de la doc "Créer un rapport Boot-Info". Et quand cette installation est accomplie, tu suis le paragraphe 1.2 Utilisation de la doc.

il n'y a pas de disque vfat sur le pc - c'est un message qui apparait à chaque demarrage " le disque vfat n'est pas encore monté " alors je tape  s et ça continue - je ne comprends pas ce message

Ce que je voudrais savoir, c'est si tu veux faire une installation toute propre, c'est à dire écraser tout ce qu'il y a actuellement dans les 3 partitions de ton disque dur, ou bien si tu veux conserver les données qui sont dans ta partition sda3 (ta partition /home actuelle).

Si tu veux écraser tout ce qu'il y a actuellement dans tes partitions, tu as juste à t'occuper des partitions sda1 et sda3 (tu ignores la partition swap sda2 parce que l'installateur fera automatiquement ce qu'il doit faire avec) en t'appuyant sur la doc "Installation d'Ubuntu : partitionnement manuel" Désolé, j'ai mal répondu.

EDIT : ce que tu as à faire, c'est de mettre en œuvre la doc "Comment réinstaller Ubuntu ?" qui s'applique aussi bien à la réinstallation d'une même version qu'au passage à une autre version. Quand tu auras fait le nécessaire suivant le paragraphe 1. Introduction, la procédure qui te concerne est celle-ci : 3. Méthode 2 – Réinstallation avec un «/home» sur une partition séparée
