Bonjour à toutes et à tous,
Je viens de reprendre mon vieux acer spire one 8GO et 512 kb de mémoire, qui tourne sous linux linpus lite.
J'ai constaté qu'on ne peut aller sur le net suite à un problème de protocole de sécurité, donc on ne peut ouvrir les pages à cause de ce message.
J'utilise Firefox pour la connexion, j'ai modifier les protocole sécurité ssl3, j'ai regardé la commande ssl3 ....que j'ai mis en true au lieu de false, mais rien n'y fait.
Donc je souhaite installer un nouveau noyau, lubuntu ou xubuntu ou autres, que me conseillez-vous ?
Si je comprends bien je télécharge ce nouveau noyau sur clé usb et il faudra bouter dessus et l'installation ce fera tranquillement.
Est-ce que je peux installer directement par dessus sachant que je n'ai rien sur ce nootbook.

Si je comprends bien je télécharge ce nouveau noyau sur clé usb et il faudra bouter dessus et l'installation ce fera tranquillement.
Ce n'est pas juste un noyau que tu télécharges avec Ubuntu (quelle que soit la variante), c'est un système complet qui remplacera celui que tu as déjà (et effacera vraisemblablement toutes tes données, à moins que tu aies une partition /home séparée, ce qui est peu probable). Si c'est bien ce que tu veux faire, alors oui : tu crées une clé LiveUSB à partir de l'ISO téléchargée (en suivant la procédure, il ne suffit pas de copier l'image sur la clé comme un fichier lambda), tu démarres dessus et tu auras l'option d'essayer la distro ou de l'installer.

Je suppose que les 8 Go, c'est l'espace disque ? Quant à la mémoire, tu veux dire 512 Mo (et pas Ko), j'imagine ? Ça risque d'être limite pour Xubuntu, même si la config requise est légèrement inférieure ; vise peut-être plutôt Lubuntu. Cela dit, ce dernier suggère d'utiliser l'ISO alternative (avec installeur texte) sur les PC qui ont moins de 700 Mo de RAM.
Pour ce qui est de la version, tu auras le choix entre la 18.04, qui est une LTS (tu pourras la garder jusqu'en 2023 mais sans que les logiciels évoluent) ou la 19.10, version en date d'Ubuntu, que tu devras mettre à jour tous les 6 mois (environ) vers la suivante.

Bon, en tout cas ton ordi est juste en RAM surtout
Il va donc falloir quelque-chose de bien léger. Tu peux tester :
- Lubuntu 18.04.1 32bits : http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/relea … p-i386.iso
- Debian LXDE (même bureau que lubuntu en version 10.2 non-free 32 bits : https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unof … onfree.iso
Tu peux commencer par les tester en session live avec une clé USB bootable.

alors j'ai installé Lubuntu 18.04.1 32bits, et le net fonctionne parfaitement, le hic c'est que ca rame, et ca rame, donc j'ai décidé de le booster un peu, donc je vais acheter d’occasion un disc dur et de la mémoire afin de lui donner un peu de vitamine.

Plutôt qu'un disque dur, remplace le par un SSD Un SSD neuf de 240 Go coûte une trentaine d'euros sur Internet.

Je suis preneur du site ou tu as vue l'annonce, parce que j'ai constaté du 120 Go à une trentaine d'euros et non du 240 Go.

Oui, il faut juste prendre un format compatible avec ton PC. Si tu avais un disque dur SATA 2,5", tu peux le remplacer par n'importe quel SSD SATA 2,5"

En vérifiant rapidement chez LDLC et materiel.net, on trouve des SSD 2"5 dans les 35/40 €. En cherchant bien, ça doit être possible de trouver un peu moins cher, peut-être avec des promos. Je ne sais pas ce que valent ceux dans les 40 € au niveau des perfs mais au moins, ce sont des marques connues (Kingston, Sandisk, Crucial...), pas du no-name d'origine louche.
C'est du matos relativement standard mais il peut y avoir des points de détail auxquels on ne pense pas forcément à prendre en compte (par exemple l'épaisseur du disque, surtout dans un netbook).

Bonsoir, pour ma fille je lui ai offert un portable de maque Lenovo sur Lubuntu 18.04 et j'ai remarqué que ce qui faisait ramer ce dernier c'était le navigateur Firefox, je l'ai alors remplacé par Pale moon ; nickel.
