[RESOLU] problème pilote AR242x sur un vieux asus

Bonjour,

Voici mon problème, j'ai un pc (ASUS X71SLseries) avec une atheros qui correspond à la AR242x de la page https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/wifi_liste_carte
Je viens d'installer le dernier ubuntu.
j'ai donc suivi ces instructions: https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=224717

avec la nouvelle adresse du dépôt: http://snapshots.madwifi-project.org/

Donc je fais ceci (tente ceci):

sudo apt-get update && sudo aptitude install build-essential
wget http://snapshots.madwifi.org/special/madwifi-nr-r3366+ar5007.tar.gz
tar xvzf madwifi-nr-r3366+ar5007.tar.gz
cd madwifi-ng-r3366+ar5007
make
sudo make install

Sauf que l'archive est vide il y a qu'un README donc je bloque à la commande make.

Que faire ?

Pour info, ma carte wifi fonctionne, sauf que si je veux me connecter à une box via une clé WPA, alors ça ne connecte pas. J'ai le même problème sur windows que j'arrive à résoudre à mettant le pilote à jour.

Mais sur Ubuntu, tout est plus compliqué... hmm

sinon donnes ta Configuration wifi

Conseils pour les nouveaux demandeurs et pas qu'eux
Important : Pensez à passer vos sujets en [Réso|u] lorsque ceux-ci le sont, au début du titre en cliquant sur Modifier sous le premier message, et un bref récapitulatif de la solution à la fin de celui-ci. Merci.                   Membre de Linux-Azur

Pour la commande sudo dpkg-reconfigure resolvconf
Je sais pas ttrop à quoi ça sert, en plus j'arrive pas à sélectionner le dernier <Ok>. Je sais pas comment on fait.

bon je sais pas ce qui c'est passé. ça vient de fonctionner. Aucune explication....

Tu as trouvé la solution , ces cartes fonctionnent aléatoirement !
Au vu de la Doc : wifi_liste_carte

§ 3.1 a écrit :

Les cartes WIFI Atheros fonctionnent plus ou moins facilement sous GNU/Linux Ubuntu au gré des versions. Un pilote unique est utilisé pour tous les modèles, le module ath5k ou ath9k. Parfois, ce pilote ne fonctionne que partiellement et des réglages/optimisations sont nécessaires selon les modèles de cartes.
