Ensuite j'ai modifié le fichier /etc/bumblebee/xorg.conf.nvidia, pour décommenter la ligne :

J'ai lancé la commande optirun glxgears, et ça c'est soldé par un PC complètement figé...

reboot forcé, cette fois, ça fonctionne.... mais avec des perf nulles.

Pourtant c'est bien le driver nvidia-331 qui est utilisé.

Notez que les perfs, je m'en cogne, moi je veux juste gagner en autonomie, donc au lieu de désactiver le chipset Intel, moi, c'est la carte NVidia que je souhaite rendre muette!

Ça a déjà l'aire de s'être mis en branle. Ne te fies pas au résultat de glxgears, là, cela semble être la fréquence de rafraîchissement du moniteur, ce qui n'est pas une mauvaise chose, 2800 FPS pour un moniteur à 60 FPS ne sert strictement à rien.

Tu as bien modifiés le bumblebee.conf pour mettre nvidia-331 ? Poste le fichier.

Que donne :

Bien sûr.

On va installer un ppa qui devrait améliorer les choses, fait ces commandes puis reboot et regardes si c'est mieux.:

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:bumblebee/stable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get clean

Là ça semble fonctionner, laisse tourner tu verras si ça freeze ou pas, le cas échéant, on remettra l'ouvrage sur le métier.

Bon, ben 1er freeze de la journée..

J'ai fait rename violent des modules nvidia, pour pas qu'ils puissent être chargés. Voir si ça arrange les choses.

Par contre, je ne vois pas ce qui te fait dire que cette fois, ça semble fonctionner. optirun -vv glxgears ne donne rien de mieux.

Par contre, quand j'exécute cette commande, un lsmod montre bien le module nvidia.

Il n'y a pas d'erreur dans optirun -vv glxgears, poste le contenu de /var/log/Xorg.8.log.

Je ne voit pas de problème au niveau de Xorg.8.log. Les freeze peuvent venir d'ailleurs, ouvre un terminal, tape top puis 1 dedans et laisse le ouvert constamment puis, au moment du freeze, regarde si un processus ne bouffe pas excessivement de la ressource.

3ème crash du jour (j'étais au toilette...).... Avec un terminal ouvert avec top en continu.
Plus gros consommateur, firefox avec 12%, puis dropbox.

Je commence à me demander si ça vient bien de l'affichage. Je devrais peut être ouvrir un post dédié non?

Les 5 èmes et 6 èmes freezes du jour, je les ai eu en ouvrant le dashboard Unity.
Avec nvidia renommé et bumblebee désinstallé.

Je tente un passage sur xfce. la suite demain.

Bonne décision mais que veux-tu dires par "Avec nvidia renommé et bumblebee désinstallé" ? Car avec ta config, c'est ou nvidia avec bumblebee ou nouveau.

Je voulais m'assurer que ça ne venait pas des drivers NVIDIA, donc j'avais renommé les modules, dans /etc/module puis redémarrer --> toujours autant de freeze

Puis j'ai desinstalle Bumblebee --> idem

Donc je suis passé à xfce --> plus de soucis depuis 3 jours maintenant.

Donc ça vient d'unity, je ne sais pas comment ni pourquoi, mais ça vient de lui.
Dans la semaine, je remets les drivers  NVIDIA et Bumblebee, puis je ferais des tests de conso.

Je vois. Perso je n'ai jamais utilisé unity mais sous xfce et enlightenment 0.19 bumblebee fonctionnait sans souci.

Bonjour,
je fais appel à vos conseil suite à un problème d'affichage de résolution d'un jeu. Je préviens de suite je suis un novice sous Linux.  J'aJ'ai installer ubuntu gnome 15.04 sur mon portable doter dun système "optimus". J'ai installé mes driver propriétaire ce qui a inclus "prime". jusque là pas de problème.  Après quelques recherche je trouve un jeux que j'avais sous Windows disponible sus linux sur steam "euro truck simulator." Le problème est que quand je le lance avec ma carte Intel le jeu lag à mort et le graphisme son moche et que quand je le lance avec ma carte nVidia ma résolution passe en 640x... mais la résolution du jeux ne dois pas changer car je ne vois que le quart supérieur gauche de l'écran et le reste et noir. Comment puis-je m'en sortir?

Comme vous pouvez vous en douter, j'ai moi aussi un problème.
Tout d'abord, voici ma configuration :

Ubuntu 14.04
Cartes :
Nvidia :GEforce840M
Intel : Haswell-ULT Integrated Graphics Controller

J'ai installé bumblebee. Mais lorsque que j'exécute n'importe quoi avec optirun, je reçois le message suivant :

->Pas de problème avec Windows 8 installé sur une autre partition.
->J'ai déjà fait un reformatage de Linux pour d'autres raisons mais il y a toujours le même bug.
-> J'ai fait des sudo apt-get upgrade et update sans succès.
->La commande " lshw -enable pci -class display" ne m'indique que ma carte Intel mais la commande lspci donne les deux cartes.

Je pense que je suis concerné par ce lourd problème, je constate que de plus en plus, les constructeurs nous laissent tomber, tout est tourné vers Windows : flash, ces satanés cartes
et que sais-je encor.. l’argent et toujours l’argent . Enfin..on essai de bricoler comme on peut.

ljere, que je remercie beaucoup, m'as ouvert les yeux sur ce problème dont j'ignorais l'existence, il m'as bien donné une solution dans ces deux commandes :

sudo su

passer en root

echo DDIS > /sys/kernel/debug/vgaswitcheroo/switch

avec lesquelles le probleme d'affigage est redevenu normale. Sauf que, au redmmarge le moche-affichage reprend le desus.
si c'est bien un problème de cartes graphiques, je vous prie de me trouver une une solution, et apparemment celle va aller en s'aggravent, puisque les orid poste 2009 sont concernés, si j'ai bien compris

curiosity tu t'es placé dans une mauvaise discussion, il s'agit en effet ici de nvidia alors que dans ton cas il s'agit d'une carte ATI

moi aussi j' ai des problèmes avec mon ordi asus et les cartes graphique cpu intel et nvidia GTX 870M

mais ma config fonctionne presque:

j' ai d'abord instalé bumbleebe
puis avec l' utilitaire "pilote additionnel" j'ai changer le pilote xorg par un pilote propriétaire nvidia 331.113 ...(propriétaire,testé)
puis redémaré
la commande "vblank_mode=0 optirun glxgears" fonctionne dans un terminal et je peux lancer des logiciels avec optirun

!!!!! Le point noir : les rérultats de "vblank_mode=0 optirun glxgears" sont 2x moins bon que "vblank_mode=0 glxgears" valeur 3500 environ contre 7000 pour la carte intel intégrée au cpu
de plus avec ou sans bumbleebe je n'ai pas de son sur la sortie hdmi

bon courage!
c'est bien dommage cela fait 8 ans que j'utilise ubuntu mais ce genre de problème semble aller de paire avec les nouvelles machines.

Bonjour FS,

C'est une bonne idée de tester une ancienne version de pilotes vu que c'est un problème récent. Et en effet avec la version 331, chez moi, ça marche (en fait ça met un autre message d'erreur : "cannot acess secondary gpu" mais qui est résolvable grâce à cette astuce : https://askubuntu.com/questions/165347/ … umblebee.)
Ca marche aussi avec la version 340.

Mais malheureusement, les logiciels (Starcraft 2 sous Wine pour mon cas) exigent souvent la dernière version des drivers pour fonctionner ...

Et justement, installer la version 346 fait buguer l'ordinateur : pas d'interface graphique qui se charge et je suis obligé de désinstaller via la console. Même tenter de passer par "pilotes additionnels" pour y mettre "Utilisation de NVIDIA binary drivers version Y depuis nvidia-X (libre)", (Y,X) valant  (346.72, 346), (349.16, 349), (352.09, 352) provoque le même problème.

Merci de me souhaiter bon courage, mais du coup je crois que je vais juste attendre que les développeurs arrivent à rattraper Nvidia et sortent une version mise à jour.
Mets nous au courant si tu testes quelque chose !

Effectivement, je suis dans la même situation que toi Palima: j'ai récemment acheté un pc (peut être un peu trop récent pour linux finalement...) muni d'une GTX 950M. Ce qui fait que je devrais utiliser les drivers 346 au minimum pour faire fonctionner ma carte sauf que comme tu l'as dit, si je les utilise, écran noir, impossible de rien faire. La seule solution est d'attendre donc que les dev' règlent tout ça?
