[Résolu] Problème de login sous 14.04
Bonjour,
Au démarrage, après avoir tapé mon mot de passe, l'écran repasse sur la page de login. La session invité fonctionne elle sans souci.
J'ai bien vu que ce problème était connu, j'ai essayé de le régler en supprimant en ligne de commande le fichier .Xauthority* mais ce fichier est introuvable.
Je résoudrais bien ce problème est faisant une ré-install tout en conservant mes documents mais bizarrement aucun système d'exploitation n'est détecté au moment de l'installation et du coup seule l'option "Effacer le disque dur et installer" m'est proposé.
Est-ce que ce bug de login est enfin résolu sur 14.04?
Sinon comment faire une nouvelle installation tout en conservant ses documents alors que mon ubuntu initial n'est pas détecté?

Je ne suis pas familier d'une installation en LVM comme c'est le cas de ton installation, mais je ne pense pas qu'une anomalie soit visible dans ce Boot-Info qui puisse avoir un rapport avec ton souci.
Question supplémentaire : s'agit-il d'une installation toute neuve de Ubuntu 14.04 ou bien est-ce une mise à niveau depuis une version précédemment installée ?
Par rapport à ta question en vue d'une réinstallation, je ne sais pas te renseigner parce que je ne connais pas bien LVM. Depuis une session live, je te conseillerais de sauvegarder sur disque dur externe tous les doc précieux que tu peux avoir sur ton disque dur interne. Si tu fais une installation neuve, oublie LVM, oubli le chiffrement de l'installation (oui, c'est de la daube), vire toutes tes partitions actuelles et fais une installation classique en choisissant "Autre chose" lors de l'installation et en adoptant une partition racine en EXT4, une partition /home en EXT4 également et une partition swap. On est rarement déçu par le classique...

Je t'ai dit de faire cela depuis une session live de Ubuntu. Si depuis une session live de Ubuntu, tu n'arrives pas à trouver tes données sur le disque dur, moi je ne sais pas t'aider pour les retrouver. Je n'y connais rien en LVM en je ne sais même pas comment il faut faire pour monter ce machin depuis une session live (mais d'autres pourront sans doute t'aider)

On peut voir cette ligne intéressante :

qui indique que 214 Go sont occupés dans ta racine de Ubuntu. Tes données sont donc probablement toujours sur le disque dur parce que ce n'est pas le système qui bouffe toute cette place : il s'agit de les retrouver ces données.

Après de nombreuses recherches je vais lancer un nouveau post pour savoir comment récupérer des données LVM non chiffrées depuis un LIVE USB.
Je passe ce sujet là en résolu du coup et le clos.
