Remplacer F-spot par Shotwell ?
Bonjour à tous,
Je suis actuellement sous la version Ubuntu 14.04 LTS et je constate des anomalies lors du démarrage de F-Spot et des difficultés à importer des photos prises avec mon appareil photo.
Il semblerait que F-spot soit en voie d'abandon sous Ubuntu et que Shotwell soit la nouvelle star (chargée par défaut sous Ubuntu)
Je suis prêt à basculer sur Shotwell mais j'ai quelques inquiétudes :
Vais-je retrouver la même structure de répertoire pour le classement des photos
Quid de la gestion des étiquettes ? faut-il la reprendre à zéro ?

Le plus simple est de l'installer et le lancer, tu verras si ca te convient !

Chez moi avec Xubuntu 14.04, shotwell ne fonctionne pas (arrêt inopiné au bout de quelques secondes) alors qu'il fonctionnait très bien avec la 12.04

Pas normal : chez moi il fonctionne parfaitement sur xubuntu 14.04 et.. 14.10
Essaie un
sudo apt-get install --reinstall shotwellsi ca ne le fait pas, démarre shotwell dans le terminal et copie les message.

Ce n'est pas trop grave, j'ai installé rawtherapee à la place, li ne me reste plus qu'à apprendre à m'en servir, et /ou attendre la 14.04-1 avec les bugs listés corrigés...

Bonjour,
F-spot a été abandonné parce qu'il était écrit en Mono (le C# de MS) et non pas parce qu'il était dépassé. Résultat : avec U14.04LTS, nous voilà obligés d'utiliser Shotwell, en-dessous fonctionnellement notamment sur la gestion des tags et les recherches complexes par glisser/déposer.
Bref, on a rendu service à Windows en éliminant de l'offre Linux un logiciel fonctionnellement riche (mais qui certes ne trouvait plus de mainteneur).

F-Spot ne fonctionnant plus, est ce que ça veut dire que tous mes diaporamas faits depuis 4 ans sont coincés dedans ? comme un satellite perdu dans l'espace...?
