[Résolu] Problème après la mise à jour.

Bonjour,
Lundi dernier mon système m'a proposé de faire la mise à jour vers Ubuntu 14.
Confiant j'accepte. J'en profite pour faire totalement autre chose.

Depuis quand je lance, le boot se passe bien, mais je tombe au bout d'une minute environ sur un écran noir avec juste le curseur de la souris.

Je peux le lancer en faisant options avancées lancer ubuntu 3.13.0.24 - recovery mode.

Sauf là, que dois je faire pour justement retenter  la mise-à-jour (si elle s'est mal passée) ou la corriger ?

sudo dpkg --configure -a

Mais surtout, donne nous le retour de

sudo apt-get update

Bizarre qu'il t'ait proposé la maj...

A part le duplicate entry que tu peux facilement nettoyer dans me sources.list, il n'y a rien de bizarre.
Je suggererai un

sudo apt-get autoremove
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo update-grub

Alors on s'en approche : je boote, j'arrive sur mon écran avec une fenêtre m'invitant à donner mon mot de passe pour déverrouiller ma session, sauf que c'est monstrueusement lent.
Si je bouge la souris, le curseur ne se déplace qu'environ trois secondes après.

En 5 minutes, je n'ai pas réussi à mettre le focus dans la zone de saisie de mon mot de passe.
Je ne sais pas ce qui ralentis.

Mise à niveau (et non mise à jour) et huit noyaux : on peut conjecturer une / ou un /home proche de la saturation.  Que donne

df -i && df -h

Comme ta session graphique rame, tu peux passer la commande en console, par Ctrl Alt F1.

ls -l /etc/apt/sources.list.d

ps : OK pas de saturation de ta /. Et ton /home est dans ta /.

Et en regardant le moniteur de ressources, je trouve que compiz prend beaucoup de CPU

Ou je n'ai pas les yeux en face des trous, ou il n'y a plus de doublons.
Refais

 sudo apt-get update

et donnes-en le retour complet.

Pour compiz, tu peux en désactiver les effets.

  Pour voir ta quantité de ram :

sudo lshw|grep -iC 5 "System memory"

software-properties-gtk

Là, tu décoches TOUT sur tous les onglets.
Puis tu fermes

sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get autoclean
sudo apt-get autoremove
sudo apt-get update

Tu rouvres

software-properties-gtk

Et tu recoches ce qui était coché (A du tuto dans ma signature - bien gaffe à ne pas cocher proposed)

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Désactive les effets dans compiz. Cela est très bien expliqué dans la doc de ce site.

Je vais donc dans paramètres système... → Apparence → et là pas d'onglet Effets.

Je suis donc bien embêté pour les désactiver.

Je désespère.
Je suis toujours obligé de passer par le "recovery mode" pour lancer mon poste.

J'ai bien installé ccsm pour désactivez les effets de compiz (ça me fait un peu bizarre d'ajouter quelque choses pour économiser des ressources). Donc j'ai l'impression que compiz me prends désormais moins de ressources.

Maintenant je n'ai plus de doublons dans apt-get.

Quand je lance mon poste, j'ai donc un écran noir avec uniquement le curseur de la souris.
Je peux passer en mode terminal avec Ctrl Alt F1.
Là il me demande un login et un mot de passe.
Je tente deux trois manip pour vérifiez si tout vas bien et je ttente startx pour revenir à l'état initial.

Tu es la troisième personne que je vois avoir des problèmes avec le noyau 3.13.0-24.

Au grub, choisis "previous versions" puis démarre sur le noyau 3.11.0-19, et dis-nous si le pb persiste ou est résolu.
