[Résolu] Grub error 15

salut

Alors voilà, j'ai la version 6.06 LTS d'installée sur mon disk.
J'ai voulu passer à la version 7.10.

J'install à partir de mon live-cd et tout se passe bien jusqu'à la fin de mon install.
(Comme j'ai 3 partitions[Ancien /, swap et /home] sur mon disk, je choisis à la fin hd0,0 comme cible du boot)

Permier truc bizarre, l'install se finie et ne me demande pas de redémarrer. La fenetre d'install se ferme mais c'est tout.
Bon, je redémarre et là : Grub error 15

Je me documente un peu et je cherche à réinstaller mon Grub, sauf que je n'ai aucun dossier grub dans le /boot.

J'ai essayé plusieurs procédures de cette page (http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/grub) dont un disk boot avec super Grub Disk mais rien n'y fait.

Vous avez une idée ?

pourquoi avoir mis (hd0,0)? quel intérêt?

Bref, donne le retour de

sudo fdisk -l

en supposant que le disque est vu comme sda
tape

sudo umount -a
sudo mount /dev/sda1 /mnt

et donne les retours de

ls /mnt/boot
ls /mnt/boot/grub
cat /mnt/boot/grub/menu.lst

Quel intérêt => Après avoir essayé hd0 et ne pas pouvoir démarrer je me suis dit que cibler la première partition ne serait pas une mauvaise idée... faut croire que non

sudo mkdir boot/grub
sudo cp /sbin/update-grub ./
sudo chroot /mnt /updtae-grub

il te demande si tu veux créer un menu.lst
réponds oui
puis

sudo grub-install --root-directory=/mnt /dev/hda

correction

sudo umount -a

cd /mnt
sudo mkdir boot/grub
sudo cp /sbin/update-grub ./
sudo chroot /mnt /update-grub

J'ai un soucis à cette étape :

ubuntu@ubuntu:/mnt$ sudo chroot /mnt /update-grub

Sinon j'ai fait qd meme la dernière étape et j'ai ca dans mon /mnt/boot/grub :
ubuntu@ubuntu:/mnt$ ls boot/grub/

device.map  fat_stage1_5   jfs_stage1_5       reiserfs_stage1_5  stage2

Ca avance je le sens bien

Heu pour le reposte, je sais pas de quoi tu parles

Sinon, j'ai un cdgravé à partir de l'iso que j'avais vérifié et un cd "officiel" que j'ai recu par la poste.
Je n'ai pas vérifier ce dernier, je le fait de suite.

inutile car je viens de voir qu'il manque le fichier
initrd.img-2.6.22-14-generic
dans le répertoire boot.

L'installation est vraiment foireuse.
Essaye avec l'alternate cd

Bon résolu.

L'aternate CD ne change rien, mais retirer un disk secondaire où y'avait eu windows XP auparavant change tout
