sudo dd if=/dev/sda3 of=~/Desktop/grub.bs bs=512 count=1

pour avoir ton fichier grub.bs. Ce qui était ton but.
Il te reste à  rajouter ceci dans la racine de win et d'éditer le boot.ini.

Pour cela,
tape
sudo umount -a
sudo mount -t ntfs /dev/sda1 /mnt

puis donne le retour de

ls /mnt
cat /mnt/boot.ini

ouf, dernière et puis tu peux rebooter

sudo gedit /mnt/boot/grub/menu.lst

change 5 par 0 dans la ligne
default        5
enregistre et redémarre

Pourquoi:

0 pour que le choix se mette par défaut sur la première entrée
1 pour que le choix se mette par défaut sur la deuxième entrée
