Imprimante en réseau sous XP
Bonjour,
j'ai un pc sous windows XP et mon portable sous Breezy depuis peu (je viens de mettre à jour ma hoary).
je voudrais imprimer via mon portalbe sur mon imprimante en partage de mon pc sous XP
Dans l'assistance d'ajout d'imprimante, je coche que c'est une Imprimante SMB partagée.
je choisis compte anonyme (car avec les autres ca donne rien) et la là dans la liste apparait le groupe de travail ou se trouve mon XP. je clic sur la fleche et apparait le nom du pc sou sXP. je clique sur la fleche et là c'est le drame.
j'ai le message :
ERROR RETURNING WEB BROWSE: NT STATUS ACCESS DENIED
Pourtant je suis en mode admin (via le bouton qu'on trouve dans le gestionnaire d'impression). donc je peux pas voir mon imprimante. pour tant les dossiers en partage du pc sous XP sont accessible via mon portable puisque j'ai bien samba d'installer.

Je suis exactement dans le même cas / configuration : [portable-Kubuntu] <=> [PC WindowsXP - imprimante]...
je peux ajouter :
- qu'avec Samba, je vois bien les dossiers partagés de la machine où est installée l'imprimante mais je ne vois pas l'imprimante (qui est pourtant partagée)
- et que mes 2 machines sont connectées via un routeur en DHCP...
Alors si quelqu'un a une p'tite idée sur la question : HELP !!!

Je vois quelques différences à la lecture :
Il n'y a pas de worgroup :

workgroup = le nom du groupe de travail
# server string is the equivalent of the NT Description field
server string = %h server (Samba, Ubuntu)

# cupsys-client package.
printing = cups

Il me semble qu'il y a un"s" à printers

Par contre, je suis vraiment débutante... c'est quoi un
man de smb.conf
??

Tu tapes dans un terminal :
man smb.conf
ça te donnera en anglo-saxon probablement tout le manuel relatif à ce fichier
