J'ai trouvé quelque chose d'intéressant, dans grub, lorsque je tape geometry (hd0), (après avoir tappé device (hd0) /dev/mapper/.......) j'obtient ceci:

grub> geometry (hd0)

Cela signifie donc que ma partition / est pas correct.. normalement il devrait y avoir le filesystem type: ext3 non?

Dsl, mais le soir je préfère pas ... Copine oblige ... déjà eu des engueulades, tendu etc...
Mais on peut continuer sur ce post ...
C'est plus lent, mais je peux dégager du temps qu'au taf ...
Je vais continuer à chercher et je te poste des infos ici quand j'en trouve.

pas sur, le code hexa derrière veut pê dire qqc...

le truc hexa correspond au type de fichier de la partition (ntfs/etx3/...) C'est ce qu'il me semble.. maintenant, pourquoi il y en a des différents..!? je sais pas..

Alors:
J'ai retenter d'installer linux (sans modification de partition, mais en formatant la partition /)
A la fin de l'installation (message d'erreur pour l'installation de grub) donc je tente de monter ma partition linux dans /target mais celle-ci est déjà montée (par l'installation); Est-ce que je dois redémarrer l'ordinateur avec le livecd pour continuer le paramètrage et suivre le tuto..?

Mais comme un dit, un problème de résolu, dix nouveaux.. Non, je plaisante, j'ai apparemment un souci de menu.lst, il n'a pas l'air d'être configurer correctement:
Lorsque je démarre, cela m'affiche Grub chargeur d'amourçage blabla (je vois pas encore de menu) et soudain, je n'ai plus de signale à l'écran.. fort gênant je dois l'avouer..
Une idée? je post mon menu.lst pour si jamais vous avez l'oeil:

Bon bon bon.. avec toute les infos que j'ai pu récolter, je n'arrive pas à savoir si il faut mettre un "#" 2 ou pas dutout pour que la ligne soie prise en compte..
Par exemple, le hidemenu et commenté (dans le menu.lst que j'ai mis ci-dessus)?

D'autre part, si j'enregistre le menu.lst après modification, et que je lance (tjs en chroot) sudo update-grub, cela me supprime les ligne pour windows..!
Que dois-je faire??

Yep!!
Tout fonctionne à merveil.. Dual boot XP/Feisty!
J'ai en faite refait l'étape de grub (dans la console) puis reparamètré le menu.lst sauf que je n'ai pas mis groot=(hd0,5) mais groot=(hd0,0) !!
Je sais pas pourquoi, mais ça fonctionne.. et je n'ai pas retenter de mettre 5 à la place.. pour moi, tant que ça fonctionne.. (si toutefois certaines personne serait intéressée de voir si cela marche avec 5 à la place de 0, dite-le moi..)

Mon menu.lst a été posté sur ce sujet (que j'avais mentionné juste avant..)

Il me reste plus qu'à mettre les driver nvidia pour ma 8800GTS (gloups..)
