[abandoné] double affichage un peu special !!

bonjour j aimerais si possible avoir l'avis d un utilisateur experimenté sur un ti probleme .
je viens d installer la distrib la plus recente d ubuntu sur un pc que je viens de monter ( amd 4200+ x2 64 )
carte graphique integree a la carte mere ( nvidia 6150 )
j ai un peu galéré pour parametrer correctement mon affichage ( 1440x900) mais a force de tester et de lire des forums j ai reussi
mon pb est que meme si j arrive a avoir correctement l affichaege sur mon ecran plat je n ai pas de sortie tv ( enfin elle marche pas )
j ai essaye plein de manip recuperee sur les forum mais au mieux j avais l affichage de base sur le lcd au pire le server x ne demarrait pas
l ideal pour moi serait un double affichage 1440 900 sur le lcd et par exemple 800 600 sur ma tv en meme temps je sais j en demande beaucoup mais aussi pour que ma femme ( et moi aussi ) puisse regarder nos videos ou nos divx
je joint une copie de mon fichier xorg.conf pour voir si  a une coquille

ben je viens de tester les tuto de la page que tu m a envoyée , j en avais deja teste un mais je voulais pas poster sans toutes les avoir testees et au redemarage du serveur X j ai un beau message d erreur me disant qu il ne pouvait demarrer , que mon xorg.conf etait mal configuré ...
c balourd qd meme
si qq un a une idee suis preneur

une chose me vient a l esprit , serait il possible que le bug vienne du fait que je tourne sur une ubuntu 64 , j ai vu dans qq post que la 64 etait pas top ...

Bonjour

Peut être effectivement que les pilotes graphiques en 64 bits ne sont pas aussi bien fait qu'en 32 bits. Essaye de voir ce que ça donne en 32 bits avec un live cd.

A part ça je ne vois pas ce que ça peut être, mais je ne suis pas un expert dans le domaine.

Bonsoir,

As-tu installé le pilote propriétaire nvidia ?

Sinon :
sauvegarde /etc/X11/xorg.conf pour pouvoir le remettre en cas de pépin
et essaye système->gestionnaire de pilotes propriétaires

Mais c'est sans garantie. Il se peut qu'il y ait quelques problèmes de clavier (chez moi il est passé en qwerty !). Je n'ai rien vu dans le xorg.conf que tu donnes, ni sur le clavier, ni sur la souris, ni sur les polices... Il est entier ?
Parce que moi j'ai pris celui que j'ai eu après avoir installé le pilote propriétaire, et j'ai rajouté ce qui manquait, en le copiant de l'ancien (sauf la partie video, évidemment) et ça marche !

Edit: j'avais un autre problème que les 2 écrans, mais bon, sans le pilote propriétaire... niet !

oui les drivers proprietaires sont bien activés , le pb c est pas que le double affichage ne marche pas ( il ne marche pas je precise ) mais les trois solutions que j ai testee ( sur le wiki) me font planter le server X
qd je le redemarre j ai un joli ecran en 640 * 480 me disant que le fichier xorg.conf est en cata etc etc ....

Je précise : 7.04 64 bits (amd sempron 3200+)
Et les tablettes graphiques inactivées, c'est moi...

J'avoue que je ne comprends pas très bien les subtilités de xorg.conf !

merci pour vos reponses mais ca ne marche toujours pas peut etre a cause du fait que j utilise la resolution 1440 par 900 et 800 par 600 sur la tv , je sais pas finalement me suis oriente vers l installation d un media center directement sur mon decodeur 9tv hd et ca marche bien donc j abandonne pour l instant je vais passer le sujet en abandonné mais si d autres on des idees pour d autres personnes ....

Tu peux essayer de lancer nvidia-settings.
De faire tous tes reglages dans la section XServer Display Configuration.
Une fois que tu as ce que tu veux tu cliques sur Save to X Configuration File et dans la fenetre qui s'ouvre sur Show Preview.
Tu copies tout dans un fichier et si besoin tu y apportes des modifs et pour terminer tu ecrases ton xorg avec le contenu de ce fichier.
Si ca peux t'aider voila mon xorg.conf en seperate X Screen avec a droite ma tele lcd en 1360x768 branche en vga et a droite mon tft en 1280x1024 branche en dvi.

J'ai ça dans mon xorg.conf :

que j'ai obtenu simplement en activant le pilote propriétaire.
Le tien donne la même indication, aux dates près. Et il ressemble beaucoup au mien.
Les 2 fonctionnent !
Michel2652 (bonjour, en passant) en a un autre, très différent, obtenu peut-être de manière différente, et sous debian.
Ça fonctionne aussi !

Question peut-être bête ? Mais à force de bidouiller, n'y aurait-il pas en fin de compte des conflits (je ne sais pas si c'est le mot qui convient) ? Et ne faudrait-il pas, pour commencer, un bon nettoyage ? Parce que quand même, il n'y a pas que xorg.conf, dans cette histoire !

Evidemment, en pratique, je ne sais pas trop...

ben a chaque modifs qui plantent je restaure mon xorg.conf qui fonctionne donc a priori non il n y a pas de conflits neanmoins vu que ca reste de l informatique et que l installation est quasiement plug and play , il doit surement il y avoir de l auto configuration pour certains fichiers en dependance de la presence d autres peripheriques car j ai suivi a la lettre toutes les methodes et comme on dit chez nous queud qui marche mais c est pas tres grave c etait plus un challenge personnel qu un besoin car comme je le disais dans un precedent post , je dispose d un media center fourni pas mon FAI et celui ci marche tres bien donc divx on tv is possible ....

ps: je continuerai a chercher qdmeme a mes heures perdues et vais me remettre dedans des que j ai 5 mn ...
