Problème d'affichage ATI Radeon X1300

Bonjour,
j'ai une carte grahique ATI Radeon X1300, qui fonctionne actuellement avec le driver "vesa". Or, la résolution est moyenne et surtout, il n'y a pas d'accélération 3D.
J'ai essayé le drivers "fglrx" des dépots et du site d'ATI, mais au démarrage, j'ai un magnifique écran tout noir, et je suis obligé de redémarrer en mode failsafe pour restaurer le xorg.conf.
Je le poste d'ailleurs ici :

J'ai également essayé de remplacer "vesa" par "fglrx" mais rien.

Question idiote mais le buc PCI dans ton xorg est le bon?

Bah sans doute oui, puisqu'il fonctionne avec le driver "vesa".
Cependant un "lspci" me donne 2 bus PCI :

03:00.0 VGA Compatible controller [...] device 7183

Bonjour,
Après installation des drivers proprio, il faut une mise à jour du Xorg par :
aticonfig --initial
Après cela, tu dois voir aparaitre le nom de ta carte dans la section device et dans la section screen ainsi que le driver fglrx dans la section device.
Ne pas oublier éventuellement de désactiver le composite ( je ne sais pas si c'est toujours d'actualité -> cf le tuto sur l'installation du pilote propriétaire ATI dans l'onglet documentation).
