[Resolu] Forcer une resolution, impossible ?

Bonjour a tous et a toutes,

Je viens de me mettre a ubuntu depuis  3 -4 jours et apres une dizaine reformatages et reinstallations  sans compter le nombre dheures a chercher sur le net les differentes methodes pour forcer mon ecran a etre en 1024*768 car en ce moment je suis en 800 600 et cela devient impossible de travailler correctement.

Jai fais dans lordre les mises a jour systemes, l'installation des drivers proprietaire dans  le menu systeme => admin.  resulat = Pas de changement.

Jai suivi le tuto dans la doc du site =  Plantage partiel du serveur X seul point positif  mode console  en 1024*768 sinon mode graphique quand il apparaissait  etait en 640*480

Modification du xorg.com :

- jai rajouté apres DPMS False => aucun chagement
- jai réédité le xorg  avec la commande qui est fourni dans le xorg => a part le changement de clavier en us  pas de changement
- jai supprimé toutes les resolutions et jai laissé uniquement le 1024*768 => aucun changement et bizarement il retourne en 800*600
- jai rajouté suite au conseil de gatchan les parametres
    Horizsync    30-82
    Vertrefresh    56-76
  =>Plantage du serveur X
Suite a lavis dun ami jai installé les drivers depuis le site nvidia (et a ce sujet quest ce que lon peut faire comme connerie pour un simple espoir lol ) => plantage total du server X

Je ne sais plus quoi cest pour cela que je men remet  a vos avis et a votre aide je vous en remercierai jamais assez =)

Ma conf  est a base de :
nf7-s - Duron 1200
Fx 5200 128 ddr
512 Mo DDR pc 2100
Ecran LG 566LM

Jespere avoir été complet jespere que vous trouverez la solution miracle parce que moi avec le peu de connaissance que jai je nen voit plus la fin lol .

Ps : Je travailler avec cet ecran sous Xp precedement et le 1024 passé sans pb

Je viens de jeter un coup d'oeil dans mon xorg.conf et je remarque une petite différence par rapport au tiens. Dans la section Monitor, j'ai deux param en plus:
    Horizsync    30-82
    Vertrefresh    56-76

C'est les valeurs (Hz) de rafraichissement de l'écran. Essaye avec ca. (J'ai changé mon écran et pas changé les valeurs et ca fonctionne toujours).

D'une, essaie de changer ces lignes :

en

        Modes        "1024x768"

De deux, si tu veux qu'on puisse mieux cernerle problème, poste ton log de Xorg. Il se situe dans /var/log/Xorg.0.log.

Essaye de suivre ce tutoriel pour installer les pilotes NVIDIAles plus récents...
Ca a marché pour moi ^^

HymnToLife  je lavais deja fait mais ca na rien changé malheuresement

Kanzaki  jai essayé et cest pire avec les drivers loool je suis bloqué en 640*480 lol help plz loool  merci encore a vous tous

Le moniteur ne remonte pas correctement ces capacités à la carte graph. Je me demande s'il ne faudrait pas forcer la chose avec des "Modeline" comme au bon vieux temps...

Il te faudrait un écran vraiment petit pour ne pas avoir plus que 800x600.

Renvoie ton log de xorg. Peut-être qu'il y as un autre problème.
Renvoie aussi ton xorg.conf...

alors se soir jai rééssayé dinstallé les drivers officiel toujours le meme probleme cest  a dire je retourne en 640*480 et impossible de changer la resolution et le logciel nvidia considere mon ecran comme un crt au lieux dun lcd

sgtgarcia jai essayé les modelines en vain malheuresement jai du recomencer le tuto une bonne dizaine de fois lol et pareil il ne prend pas en compte mon 1024 grrrr

De plus jai essayé de passer par envy  et pareil apres installation des drivers  retour en 640 480 le seul moyen actuel detre en 800 600c de modifier le driver et mettre nv au lieu de nvidia

De plus le xrand -r ne marche pas dans le sens ou il me ke la resolution nexiste pas

Install un peu

xresprobe

et lance la commande

sudo ddcprobe | grep monitorrange

. Remet les infos HorizSync et VertRefresh.

La section monitor devrait ressembler +/- à ca:

Peut être un truc aussi pour l'erreur suivante:

Bonsoir alors Je comprend pas comment ca se fait mais apres avoir mis
HorizSync VertRefresh juste avant loption DPMS ca a fonctionné, jai reinstallé les drivers depuis Envy aucun bug et jai maintenant les differentes resolutions. Cest bizarre car je lavais deja inscrit dans le xorg, de plus pour le composite quil soit en disable ou enable je nais pas vu de difference, le fait davoir mis dans cet ordre a t  il pu arranger mon problemes ?
