xorg rafraichissement

Bonjour !

Je tente d'installer le dualscreen sur mon pc... tout va bien sauf que je n'arrive pas à regler un petit probleme: je suis en 1280x1024 60 hz ... j'ai suivi plusieurs how to, j'aitenté les modelines, les changements de résolution à l;a main ect etc ... mais à ne fonctionne pas.

Auriez vous une idée s'il vous plait ?

comment constates-tu ces 60Hz? au niveau de l'ecran (menu) ou bien via l'outil qui permet de changer de resolution sous gnome (il est buggue pour la resolution)?

Je constate ça de plusieurs manières:
-->XRandR (
--> système-->préférence-->résolution de l'écran (là cette commande ne fonctionne plus parce que j'ai activé xinerama true...)

Euh ... quelle valeur ? si je désactive xinerama, alors je peux retoucher à ma résolution dans les préférences mais il ne me propose que du 60 hz...

non, ton ecran doit t'indiquer la resolution dans un de ses menus, pas un truc accessible via ubuntu, mais directement sur l'ecran.

Tu es certain de tes valeurs de HorizSync / VertRefresh?
Ca m'a l'air un peu bas quand meme.
C'est un ecran lcd ou a tube?

je te remets mon xorg.conf ... je commence à loucher là ... double écran en 60 hz ça commence à me piquer les yeux ! au secourrrssss !!!

et si tu essayes de baisser en resolution, est-ce que la frequence augmente?
tes deux ecrans sont identiques? lcd ou crt???

Perso je penche pour soit:
- un probleme de conf au niveau des valeurs Horizsync et vertrefresh (les valeurs que tu as mis en place ne permettent certainement pas d'atteindre le 1280x1024@85Hz, pour info les valeurs de mon ecran sont: HorizSync: 31.0 - 96.0 et VertRefresh: 55.0 - 160.0
donc nettement plus eleves concernant horizsync, et pourtant je crois que 1280x1024@85 c'est son maxi ou pas loin en tout cas)
- ou alors ton ecran ne supporte simplement pas cette frequence, je crois qu'a partir des frequences de rafraichissement verticales et horizaontes on peut calculer les resolutions et frequences correspondantes maxi, faudrait essayer (enfin faudrait surtout trouver la methode de calcul, j'ai regarde un peu sur google et je n'ai rien trouve )

...Nous ne voyons pas d'autre explication

fais gaffe normalement il faut entrer les valeurs de ton ecran, pas celle d'un autre.
tu risques quand meme d'abimer ton ecran si tu lui balances des frequences trop elevees, si tu en avais de plus adaptees ca passerait peut-etre mieux.
(pour info mon ecran est un Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 740 SB (17"))
ces valeurs correspondent au range de bande passante que peut accepter l'ecran en horizontal (en khz) et en vertical (en hz) (vitesses de balayage horizontales et verticales).

ah, je ne connais pas les drivers intel, mais il y a peut-etre le meme genre d'outil qui permet de controler precisement les options a passer au serveur X.
sinon comme j'ai dit: modelines, mais je ne sais pas trop comment ca marche non plus
