changement de résolution d'écran entraine déconnexion
Lorsque je souhaite changer la configuration de l'écran (passer de 1024/768 à 800/600 par exemple), l'écran devient noir (1 ou 2 secondes) puis l'écran de connexion s'affiche (là où on tape son loggin).
J'ai cherché dans le forum et je n'ai pas trouvé comment résoudre ce problème lors du changement de résolution d'écran (qui empêche notament d'utiliser gcompris pour mon fils).
J'ai un portable acer aspire 3503 WLMI
écran 15,4" WXGA acer
sous dapper 6.06

Pour changer de résolution, je clique sur système, préférence, résolution de l'écran. là quelle que soit la résolution que je choisis, quand je valide, j'ai l'écran de connexion qui s'affiche.
J'ai essayé ctrl+alt+plus ou moins mais il ne se passe apriori rien.
Désolé de ne pas avoir pu suivre mon message pendant ces quelques jours.

Poste voir ton /etc/X11/xorg.conf (notamment la section screen).

pourtant ca a l'air ok, essaye de faire ctrl+alt+le plus ou le moins du pave numerique.
si ca ne marche pas fais ta manip habituelle, reloggue toi et regarde le fichier /var/log/Xorg.0.log, il devrait y avoir des trucs interessants dedans, tapes dmesg aussi, ca va te donner les logs de ta machine, jettes-y un oeil.
